A new non-verbal live entertainment venue is opening in Shinjuku in August 2024, offering a next-level experience of traditional Japanese culture.
Supervised by Denjiro Tanaka—renowned kabuki master and seventh-generation kabuki musician who also performed at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics opening ceremony—this production brings together elements of Japanese tradition such as ninja, oiran, and wa-daiko (Japanese drumming), presented through ever-evolving kabuki staging techniques passed down since the Edo period.
