Reviews
I am satisfied with the cost-effectiveness. It was nice to be able to watch and participate in a folk performance, and it was very convenient that they gave us skewers for free and picked us up and dropped us off at our accommodation. The performance hall is located in the city, so it is easy to get to.
On the last night of Dalat, I decided to experience folk games. Was it because I didn't have high expectations? Surprisingly, the atmosphere and the people performing were very active and showed enthusiasm and enthusiasm throughout the performance. We prepared a lot of traditional dances and games with the audience to participate in folk dances, and the alcohol and grilled skewers were delicious. At least once. I don't think it's a bad idea to try it out~^^
What a disappointment. We were supposed to have an English-speaking guide. In fact, neither the guide nor the driver spoke English. The guide was essentially "non-existent." The driver told stories about Vietnam, but only in Vietnamese. It was impossible to follow a good portion of the show if you don't speak Vietnamese. It was possible to participate in the dances (games). Only one mini skewer was provided. There was a huge jar of rice alcohol to share, with only 4 straws for 8 people. Not very hygienic. There was no replacement drink if you didn't drink alcohol. It's a shame.
It was a very fun tour. The guide was very kind and took lots of photos for us. The pork skewers were delicious, but the alcohol might be a bit strong. Since it was indoors, you don't have to worry about the weather.
I think this is a bit underrated. The guide is very friendly and speaks good English, so I was able to fully understand the explanation. You can sing really well live, see passionate traditional dances of about 20 men and women, and even participate in simple movements. It's also nice to have a campfire with skewers and alcohol. To be honest, the skewers are tasteless and the alcohol tastes exactly like jeongjong. I was worried about the hygiene of the alcohol, but the guide provided separate straws so that only the group could drink, so we drank to the point of getting drunk. We also had a drop off at the night market, so we could comfortably explore the night market. The downside is that the detailed pick-up call was made an hour before the day, making me anxious, and the song accompaniment was a bit boring. Other than that I was satisfied. There isn't much to do in Dalat, but it was a good experience at a low price. For your information, there are almost no foreigners and you can experience the rich local culture.
There was a lot of audience and participation. There were about 50 people from China, Vietnam, Canada, Turkey, etc. We played games with dancers. There was a little bit of awkwardness. It was a fun time.
If you are a cultural lover and like to see an authentic ethnic dance (something like Kecak dance in Bali), then this is not the place for you. The dance and music have been mutated with local Vietnamese influence. It is shame that I didn't get much information about the real C'hor culture after the show.
The atmosphere is lively, the program arrangement is interesting, and the interactive nature is high, but you must have the courage to play. The few stars are whether the tour guide has not actively called in advance to come to the hotel to pick up and drop off.
We were not given the pick up details before our trip (very different from our other tours), for both of my separate bookings with different contact numbers. Had to scramble with Klook half an hour before the tour and we were picked up at 620pm (way after the listed 6pm). I do understand that pick up time vary however we were not even sure we were missed out or what to expect. It took a toil on us for an hour. The show was in Vietnamese and we were not given a brief of each show, also tour guide wasn’t with us at all throughout the show. Vine was served and I would expect at the minimum to know the purpose of the vine and how it correlates with the show.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent experience with our tour. We understand the frustration and inconvenience caused by not receiving the pick-up details in advance. We strive to provide clear and timely communication to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our customers. Car comes on time to pick up at your hotel. Show is nice. It has funny game also. Recommend.
