Reviews
Reviews summaryI completed a 5‑day Annapurna Base Camp trek with Ghale Moses as my guide and porter, and I can truly say he became much more than that, he became a dear friend. Moses was always attentive, constantly asking if I was okay, reminding me to drink water, and encouraging me to take breaks when needed. He took care of every detail, from ordering food and water to ensuring I was comfortable at each lodge. His strength and endurance were remarkable, but what stood out most was his kindness, patience, and big heart. He carried my load with ease, yet carried even more in the warmth of his Nepali hospitality. Because of Moses, my trek was not only safe and successful but also joyful and deeply memorable. He embodies the true spirit of Nepal, turning a challenging adventure into a meaningful experience. I highly recommend Cordial Trek and choose Moses to anyone seeking not just a guide, but a companion who will make your journey unforgettable👍🏻
This was the best trekking experience of my life. Participating in the English-language tour by myself made me a bit nervous, but my guide, Moses, was sincere, polite, always gave me great advice, and supported me every step of the way. Thanks to him, I was able to fulfill my dream of trekking in the Himalayas. I strongly recommend requesting Moses if you take this tour! September 13: Even though it was just the day before the trek, Moses came all the way to my hotel to explain the trek and check my required mountain gear. Following his advice, I bought altitude sickness medication and water purification tablets. September 14: Moses picked me up at the hotel, and we took a taxi followed by a series of jeeps, taking about half a day to reach the deepest point accessible by vehicle, just before the suspension bridge. We then started the trek and arrived at the lodge in Sinuwa in about four hours. September 15: Honestly, this was the toughest day. I walked about 12 miles (20 km) to Deurali. Whether you can get through this leg pretty much determines the success or failure of the trek. However, if you are someone who regularly hikes, I think you can get through it as long as you keep your spirits up. September 16: We walked past Macchapuchhre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp. We didn't walk as long a distance as the previous day, and I enjoyed a leisurely trek while taking in the alpine scenery. However, perhaps due to the altitude of 13,450 feet (4,100 meters), I came down with altitude sickness at ABC and was hit with a headache and nausea. Moses gave me caring advice, and after drinking a little garlic soup and taking medication for altitude sickness, headaches, and my stomach, I went to bed early. I will never forget how Moses worried about my physical condition and even came to my room in the middle of the night to check on me! September 17: This morning, we were blessed with the most breathtaking views of Annapurna South and Macchapuchhre! We then started our descent and stayed overnight in Sinuwa. September 18: We walked from Sinuwa to the suspension bridge, transferred through jeeps, and arrived back at the hotel. Tips: Keep your luggage under 15 lbs (7 kg). If you have a down jacket, a sleeping bag is unnecessary. Bear bells are not needed. The trails are extremely well-maintained, and there are plenty of lodges along the way. Except at ABC, I was able to have a room to myself.
hike was tough but our guide Raju made it super comfortable for us. He is such a funny and energetic guy. He went to extra efforts to get us private rooms wherever he could. He also helped to carry some load when my girlfriend wasn't feeling well. He treated us like friends and we were shared great memories together. Raju from Cordial Trek is definitely recommended!
I rarely write reviews unless I’m asked to, but this time, I truly feel that my guide Prakash Neupane and porter Narra deserve to be recognized. I recently did a solo trek to ABC from 18–22 September, and they took such good care of me throughout the entire journey. My guide was kind, calm, patient, and incredibly helpful. He always hiked at my pace and stayed behind me to make sure I was safe. During the first 20–30 minutes of the trek, I struggled a bit with the hikking. He told me to take my time. After that, I gradually found my own pace and started to really enjoy hiking. Throughout the whole 5D/4N trek, I felt incredibly comfortable, safe, and well taken care of. Along the way, we even became more like friends rather than just a guide and trekker. And of course, the views at ABC were absolutely amazing! 🏔️✨ I had so many unforgettable memories and I’m very grateful to my guide and porter for making this journey such a wonderful experience. 🤍
I recently completed a 5days 4nights Annapurna Base Camp trek and I couldn’t have asked for a better team. My guide, Raj was incredibly knowledgeable about the routes & mountain culture. He made sure we was always safe, comfortable & informed about what to expect each day. His patience and encouragement kept us going. Our porter, Smile was simply amazing. Carrying all our heavy belongings up and down endless stone steps, through changing weather and across challenging terrain is no small feat yet he did it with a smile every single day. Despite the heavy load, he often reached the teahouse before us and made sure our belongings were ready in the room. His strength and dedication allowed us to enjoy the trek. Both of them went above and beyond helping us with meals checking in on our condition. Thanks to them, this trek became not just a physical challenge, but an unforgettable, joyful experience. Highly recommend their service to anyone considering trekking in Nepal. Thanks Raj & Smile🙏
I planned a trekking trip for a special trip with my dad. I chose this place because it had high ratings and good reviews, and it was convenient because I could book everything at once, including permits, jeeps, meals, and accommodations :) I felt reassured thanks to the guide, Pratip, who was with us. He matched his pace to mine when I fell behind, and even though being a guide can be tiring, he always treated me with a smile. I was happy to meet friends from different countries who were trekking with us, and it was a fun 5 days. Some friends and I suffered from altitude sickness, but Pratip took great care of us, worried about us, and helped us get to ABC safely! The scenery was really good, it wasn't as cold as I thought, and I had a safe and comfortable trip. My dad was very, very satisfied! More than anything, he said the people were so nice haha. Oh, and after the trekking, when there was a problem with the hotel reservation and I came out for a moment, the guide happened to pass by and helped me when I asked him, and he was kind to the end haha. Thank you so much 😊🙏🏻 I highly recommend it if you are planning the Annapurna Circuit Trek!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We had an amazing time trekking to ABC, thanks to our wonderful guide Mr Om and porters Mr Narayan & Mr Yem. 4 of us felt safe, well taken care of, and truly enjoyed every moment. They were friendly, helpful & made the whole experience smooth and memorable. Highly recommended!
Incredible ABC Trek – Exceptional Team from Cordial Trek We just returned from the Annapurna Base Camp trek and had an unforgettable experience with Cordial Trek. Our guide, Oham Raj, was exceptional—calm, patient, and highly knowledgeable. He supported us through every challenge with quiet confidence and a reassuring presence. His guidance made the entire journey feel safe and well-paced. Our porter, Jec, was equally fantastic, incredibly strong, and full of positive energy. Thanks to him, we could focus on enjoying the trek without worry. The entire trip was well-organized, from accommodations to route planning. The stunning Himalayan views were only made better by the warmth and professionalism of this amazing team. Highly recommend Cordial Trek, especially Oham Raj and Jec, if you’re planning the ABC trek. They truly made it a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
Despite the inevitable delays for the Flight & Jeep ride, the entire trip organised by Cordial Trek went really well. Cordial trek’s services are exquisite. Quick responses anytime in need providing you with the best experience possible. ANIL DOKPA SHERPA, my appointed Mountain guide with 15years of experience at a very young age, did an exceptional job during my entire Annapurna Base camp trek. He made it achievable for me. Without his guidance & support I wouldn’t have succeeded. I gave him all my trust & he exceeded my expectations. Not only with his incredible mountaineering skills , but also with his weather predictions! Of course we made it to ABC with the perfect kind of weather. What a truly remarkable experience to remember. 100% recommended for those who would like to achieve beyond the limits & explore the Majestic Himalayan Mountains. Namaste ~ D.
I recently completed an unforgettable trek to Annapurna Base Camp with Cordial, and I can't recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, the experience exceeded all my expectations, thanks in large part to my incredible tour guide, Oham Raj Tamang. Oham's insights into the local culture and the stunning landscapes were invaluable. His caring nature ensured that I was always feeling good throughout the trek. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying every moment. More than just a guide, Oham became a great friend, and I truly appreciated his passion for the mountains and his dedication to his clients. The professionalism of the Cordial team is commendable. They clearly prioritize hiring knowledgeable and caring guides, and it shows. I can't wait to plan my next trek with Oham, and I look forward to exploring another base camp together. Thank you, Cordial, for a remarkable adventure and for providing such an outstanding guide! Keep up the great work!
