There were a lot of people, so visitors had to wait to be able to go inside the museum and the museum store. It was also a bit crowded inside, but the great displays made the visit and the waiting time worth it.
We had a fantastic time at the Hello Kitty Museum! The wait time was short, and the experience was well worth it. One of the highlights was the adorable crepe van outside, offering Sanrio character-themed crepes—such a cute touch! The exhibit beautifully showcases how Hello Kitty is for everyone, adapting to different styles over the years. From retro Hello Kitty phones, TVs, bags, and clothing to modern designs, it was amazing to see her evolution. There were plenty of photo and video opportunities, making it a great spot for capturing memories. The gift shop was still well-stocked with lots of merchandise to take home. Plus, your ticket gives you access to other museums, including the archaeology museum and tea gardens, which makes it even better value. I highly recommend visiting while you can to celebrate 50 years of Hello Kitty magic!
It was easy to get tickets via the app the day of. The lines were efficient, albeit crowded. Lots of memorabilia, even some from when I was a kid. really enjoyed the collabs and current interpretations. Appreciated the efficiency of only 10 minutes in the store.
Museum is located in a huge park. The visit was worth every penny perhaps worth even more than what I’ve paid. After Hello Kitty’s exhibition, we spent a few more hours at the National Museum which is just next to Hello Kitty exhibition building.
Super fun and interesting to see the history of Hello Kitty! They had some designated photo spots that you could take pictures at, which is nice as well. Definitely also recommend going to the Tokyo National Museum right next to it.
it was an amazing experience! I’m a die hard hello kitty fan, so this was a must. different from most other Sanrio exhibitions, as this focused a lot on the deeper meaning behind hello kitty and all the symbolism. I must admit that I shed a tear because I was so emotional. 10/10 recommend
Excellent exhibition for the 50th anniversary of hello kitty, ticket also includes general admission to Tokyo national museum which is absolutely necessary to visit afterwards. very well organized and beautiful museum to learn about Japanese history and culture.
The Hello Kitty exhibition was really cute and fun. I'm glad I got the chance to come and Klook made it easy to book my tickets. They are an official retailer of the tickets as linked through the exhibition official site.
it was really easy to book via Klook. As a hello kitty fan booking this exhibition was a no brainer. Lots of fun things to see and merch to but. you can see their collaboration with other Brands over the years. Had fun being there. Made lots of pictures of Hello Kitty
A wonderful exhibit to celebrate 50 years of Hello Kitty! I loved seeing the history and development of both Kitty and Sanrio over the decades. There are so many cool products and collaborations. There were also many fun photo ops!
