Prague to Cesky Krumlov Full-Day Guided Tour with Transfers

A beautiful city that is worthwhile visiting. Our guide, Milada, delivered its history clearly which made the visit even more interesting. The tour would have been perfect if it lasted an hour more. Unless we skip lunch, we were only able to visit either the inside of the castle or the museum during the "free time". Thumbs up to our driver, Tony, who safely took us to the destination and back.

Our guide, Oleg, was impressive in one major way — he spoke three languages fluently. However, the guiding style didn’t quite work for me & maybe some of us. He talked about Prague and Český Krumlov for far too long. After the first 10–20 minutes, it became difficult to follow the story. The trip itself is long and tiring, especially by bus. Once you arrive, the physical strain continues. cobblestones are hard to walk and the whole town walkway are cobblestones. the town is hilly & some paths are steep making the walks more tiring. the climb to the tower has 162 steps and they are steep but worth to do it for aerial photos. there are shortcuts to the cloak bridge but many steps to climb. the town is pretty with many red roofs. I might visit again for different photo vantage points. the bus journey is 3 hours each way. traffic out of Prague cbd is bumper to bumper. once u are out it’s highway all the trip. the castle tower is 280kc for tower & museum.

Perfect time management and tour arrangement, of course because of going with the guide Carolina, really appreciated, she explained everything details and shown us all her recommendations to us. 3 hours maybe a bit rush at the end but quite enough to checkout the whole town. and if your struggling to buy castle tickets or not, I will say unless you really want to take pictures from certain angle, otherwise those viewpoints are really good enough to take all those nice photos of CK

Because we went during the off-season, we didn't expect to be the only two people in the whole tour group. The super small group made the whole trip very comfortable. You had all the seat space to yourself, and you could put your clothes on the seat next to you. The tour guide was also very patient in answering all kinds of questions, and the car ride was very smooth. We didn't encounter much traffic and arrived back in Prague an hour earlier than expected. The rest stops along the way were also very clean. Thank you to the tour guide and driver for the arrangements! Český Krumlov itself is very beautiful and perfect for a quiet stroll. If you're up to it, be sure to climb the tower for a panoramic view of the town.

Our tour guide was incredibly enthusiastic, providing thorough explanations of Prague and the town's history, and meticulously looking after every group member. In addition to taking us to their favorite restaurants, they also gave us a great deal of freedom to explore the town.

Carolina was an outstanding guide for our Český Krumlov Czech tour. From the very beginning, she was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about Czech history, culture, and local stories. She explained everything clearly and made complex history easy to understand and engaging. Carolina kept the tour well organized while still allowing time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and ask questions. Her recommendations for food and viewpoints were excellent and added great value to the experience. She genuinely cared about the group and created a friendly atmosphere. Thanks to Carolina, the tour was informative, relaxed, and truly memorable for everyone.

You'll need to check in and redeem your voucher at the tour station at the meeting point. There will be a stop at a rest area along the way, but the prices for goods there are quite high, so I recommend buying breakfast and water beforehand. The bus will park in a lot, and it's about a 5-10 minute walk to the destination. My ankle was injured in a car accident, so I couldn't walk that far. The guided tour plus free time was 3.5 hours, and I wouldn't have been able to keep up for the whole duration. So, I spoke with the tour guide, and I waited for everyone at the scenic entrance to the CK town. Luckily, the entrance was the best spot for photos! The other tourists in the group were also very friendly. I highly recommend this tour for those who prefer a relaxed itinerary!

Taking the day trip was great. The meeting point was only a seven-minute walk from the hotel, saving time on taking buses and changing trains. Everyone was punctual, and we also got to visit the places I wanted to see and eat at the cellar restaurant.

Tony, the driver, drove safely from Prague to Krumlov, while Carolina, the tour guide, provided us with insightful historical information about Krumlov.

A small group of 10 people is great. The guide explained things in the town, and also included some purchasing recommendations. The guide is proficient in different languages and can explain things to tour members. It would be nice if the time in town could be extended.
