What to expect

Our tour will provide an in-depth guided tour of the Lamma Island Fishermen’s Cultural Village, allowing you to have a more comprehensive understanding of Hong Kong’s intangible cultural heritage and fishing culture. First, one of Hong Kong’s intangible cultural heritages, the technique of marine fish farming, will be introduced. The guided tour will explain the structure, daily operations and breeding environment of fish farming, giving you a deeper understanding of the current status of Hong Kong's fisheries.

In addition to observation, you can also participate in the exciting hookless fishing game and experience the wisdom of fishermen. This activity allows you to experience the excitement and fun of catching big fish while understanding the work of fishermen at sea.

In addition, you will also have the opportunity to participate in another intangible cultural heritage activity in Hong Kong, which is the fishing technique of fishermen casting their nets. This activity will allow you to experience first-hand how fishermen use nets to catch fish and feel the skills and hard work of fishing.
