Mr Jamil aka Jimmy was spitting facts and stories the whole trip. It's nice that he was able to keep the attention of both Russian and English speakers in a timely manner. His patriotism shows in his immense knowledge of the places we were visiting, and his trivia questions and 5% discount reward kept us severely hooked. It was a lot of places in one day but very worth it if he is your guide! (also he takes very good photos!)
A good day tour from Tbilisi. All the stops were so different and made for a good mix of a day, with the highlight definitely being Uplistsikhe. Misha was a good guide and very helpful along the way.
Our guide, Garry, was extremely kind and passionate. Wherever we went, he explained each place with genuine enthusiasm and answered all of our questions clearly and confidently. He speaks both Russian and English fluently, and used easy-to-understand language throughout the tour. We truly appreciated his friendly attitude and professional guidance. I would highly recommend Garry to everyone.
It was a very informative and enjoyable trip. Missha, our tour guide was such a good host. Just a note, the Uplistsikhe stop is a bit of a hike and the timing of going up might be during peak daylight so wear appropriate shoes & clothes, wear a hat or bring an umbrella, make sure you are hydrated properly & ate your meal before the hike. Also, the itinerary can vary depending on the weather or guide. Overall a nice trip to make.
The itinerary was as described. The restaurant we were taken to for lunch was a bit pricey. The schedule was reasonable, and the tour guide provided very detailed information. Booking a tour locally might be cheaper.
was in a group of 2 English speakers (including myself) and the rest was all Russian speakers. Guide did try his best to be accommodating and do the tour in both languages, but of course the majority received more attention. I really don't understand why the company has to combine languages in 1 tour, isn't it just easier to separate into eng and russian tours?? I rather book with a different company that does this separation. other than that, the places visited were really nice. Felt that lunch was overpriced.
David was the tour guide and he gave a detailed explanation of all the sites visited in Russian and English.
It was a simple and worthwhile trip. The guide, Natalia, was very informative and knowledgeable about the places. She spoke English that was easy to understand. Excellent!
