- The trek from Dongchong to Xichong is a popular hiking route. The difficulty isn't high; basically, you just need to walk along the coast, and you can enjoy beautiful scenery amidst the challenges of the hike. However, for safety, it's recommended to go with at least 5 or 6 people because the rocks and mountains can be difficult to climb. The hike takes about 5 hours, and it's not recommended for the elderly or children.
- Dapeng Peninsula is a great place for vacations, and many Shenzhen residents choose to come here for a short weekend getaway to relax. It’s a leisurely place, far from the city center, with good water quality, making it one of Shenzhen’s few resort destinations. Dapeng Peninsula has three seafood streets: Shutou Seafood Street, Moon Bay Shuangyong Pier, and Shutousha Village Seafood Street, which can satisfy your seafood cravings.
- Dapeng Peninsula is located on the southeastern coast of Shenzhen, including the four major areas of Dongchong, Xichong, Yangmeikeng, and Nanao. It is Shenzhen's "Golden Coast," with clear sea water and many marine activities.
- Both Dongchong and Xichong are popular destinations on Dapeng Peninsula. There are many guesthouses here, and the facilities are relatively mature. Most guesthouses are quite clean. There are also more than a hundred villager-built B&Bs in various colors along Jiaochangwei Beach. You can choose a guesthouse that suits your taste at the beach you want to visit.
- Dongchong is more popular, and many people come here to swim. The seawater is very clean. Before entering Dongchong Beach, you need to pass through Dongchong Village, where a river flows into the sea and is distributed with dense mangroves, which has a unique flavor. Basically, those who come to Dongchong are mainly people who want to hike.
- Xichong is known for its large beach, which is the largest in Shenzhen. In addition to popular seaside activities, you can also enjoy outdoor activities in Xichong. Barbecues and camping are also common here.
- Jiaochangwei Beach is located opposite Dapeng Fortress. The beach here is long and narrow, but there are many marine activities, and the beach is directly outside the guesthouse.
- Yangmeikeng has very beautiful sea views, but there is no beach. A popular activity is cycling along the road to enjoy the sea view. Cycling takes about 4 hours. There are many rental shops here, so don't worry about not being able to rent a bike. The sunsets here are also very famous, and cycling to watch the sunset is very romantic.
- In addition to the beaches, Dapeng Peninsula also has attractions such as Dapeng Peninsula Geopark, Dapeng Fortress, and Dapeng Mountain, which you can also visit.

- Visitor tickets are for admission only. Visitors are prohibited from bringing any clothing for changing (including props/jewelry/headwear/shoes/bags, etc.) or any photographic/filming equipment/photography props into the park for photo shoots. Furthermore, visitors are prohibited from conducting any for-profit photography within the park for commercial purposes (including wedding photos/modeling/best friend photos/portraits/family photos/COSPLAY advertisements/short videos/film crew shoots/micro-movies, etc.). If discovered, a fee will be charged according to the commercial photography rate (¥700/hour, charged in one-hour increments).
- The indoor area of Rose Town is not open to visitors.
