On January 7, 2026, I took a day trip to Sheipa Leisure Farm with my family, led by the friendly and talkative Uncle Lai. Uncle Lai's driving skills are superb, making even the narrow, winding, and foggy mountain roads feel safe. After arriving at Sheipa Leisure Farm, there was enough time to enjoy lunch (the buffet was delicious!), visit the Wild Horse Lookout Trail (a one-hour round trip, hiking sticks are provided at the entrance), and then return to the cafe to watch the sea of clouds while enjoying coffee and waffles. We arrived back in Taipei promptly at a little after six. It's a great choice for a quick escape from the city's hustle and bustle to relax in the mountains— recommended for friends who don't have a car but still want to take their family for a refreshing outing.
