The Chinatown Heritage Centre is a great insight into Singapore Chinatown's history. We have visited before, but this time wanted to share it with a friend. You can easily spend a couple of hours exploring the exhibits, reading about the history, and watching some of the video stories of those sharing their history in Chinatown. The Centre was closed for renovations last time we visited Singapore, we're hopeful it reopens soon so we can go back and learn more in what will likely be a revamped display.
The place is so quiet and the tourist will surely understand that museum because there is a phone that the guest can hold while having a tour to explain the history of SG.
Make a last minute booking. Collection of ticket is very convenient. Staff was friendly. The whole museum bring you back to the olden days.
Show your voucher, get an audio guide machine, and follow the guide to visit the three-story pavilion. It takes about two hours, and then you slowly take a stroll and take pictures slowly. It feels rich and full.
what an exciting tour, able to know a lot of history from the past
Staff will scan the QR code on your Klook ticket, issue you a headset before letting you enter. Very convenient! Parents may purchase the stamp booklet for kids to hunt for hidden stamps around the heritage centre.
Very recommended !!! Not only the exhibits, text, photos, audio and video records, multimedia guides always start with a dialogue of the characters at the time, the exhibition area is supplemented by lights, sounds, and smells, such as smelling sweet and sweet in the Dongxing Cake Shop exhibition area Sweet egg tower flavor ~ This part of the history of Chinese immigrants to Singapore, the story comes from the small people in the market, the real story can resonate, the rendering power is particularly strong, it is worth a visit !!!
very educational, learn alot form history of chinese in singapore
