Gold Coast Whale Escape - Luxury Whale Watching Cruise

The tour guide on the cruise was professional and flkind.The photographer was humorous and friendly! We had a nice chat and felt warm welcome, and I got to see other photos he took.The captain sailed the cruise gently and I didn’t get any seasickness! Nice trip for sure! Highly recommended to Boattime company!

Had an unforgettable time whale watching on a boat. The highlight was witnessing a whale tail slap up close it was an incredible. The crew was great, sharing tons of interesting facts. Definitely planning to return for another trip!

Scanning the QR code for e-tickets was incredibly convenient and fast for entry! This time, I was lucky enough to see a massive humpback whale leap out of the water, along with playful dolphins swimming alongside and a stunning sunset over the sea. The scenery was truly breathtaking and incredibly therapeutic! The boat had clean restrooms, and although the indoor cabin was a bit stuffy and warm, and those prone to seasickness are advised to take motion sickness medication in advance and spend time on the deck for fresh air, seeing the whales firsthand made it all absolutely worthwhile. Such a special experience! And Boattime Yacht Charters made it even more memorable, from the moment you step on board to see hot cocoa/coffee/tea and biscuits to the very end when they offer you a photo folder of you & a professional picture of one of the whales seen during the charter. So impressed! Easily a 10/10 :)

I saw many whales. I also saw whales jump about seven times, so I was satisfied overall. The whales with the skyscrapers of Surfers Paradise in the background were photogenic!

It was really sweet to offer hot chocolate and biscuit onboard. Staffs were really friendly. Got all the nice pics with the whales. Wonderful experience.

Friendly service provided by staff. Served drinks and biscuits refreshments upon boarding. 2 decks total, plenty of space to view the ocean. The guides were professional, spotting the spectacular whales in the vast ocean. Toilets and vomit bags are provided for your convenience. Drinks are available to purchase on board. Finally, you can purchase a $20 photo taken right before you board the yacht along with a photo of the whale's tail.

One of the highlights of our Aus trip. We saw multiple "flukes" and at least 3 "breaching". It happens in at least 2 to 3 secs so difficult to catch it unless you are continuously recording. Tips: go straight into the wharf. There is no one waiting at the point indicated in the Google maps. Try to go up the upper deck of the yacht immediately as you enter to get the best view bec they have a max capacity once reached they will block off entry. Take note that you'll feel the waves more at the upper deck than at the lower deck. So if you get sea sick easily stay at the lower.
