Istanbul: Best of The City Full-Day Tour with Transfers

Our guide Zel was extremely informative about the history of Istanbul and all of the religious/historical sites we saw. Zel was our guide for just me and my friend so it felt more personal than being in a large your group. Zel made the day fun and has a great personality. Would thoroughly recommend this tour and Zel as your guide.

There tour started poorly when the pickup did not turn up at the hotel as stated on the booking voucher . There was no email at WhatsApp from the tour operator before the tour. There was an email reminder from Klook regarding the booked tour the night before. No contact details of the tour operator was available in the voucher. After spending precious time chatting with Klook via the app, it was already more than 1 hour from the supposed pick up time from the hotel. The tour operator subsequently messaged via WhatsApp to say that the tour had been cancelled! The issue was there was no prior notification. Tour operator offered to reschedule the tour to the following day, but I scheduled to leave Istanbul that following day. Eventually, tour operator offered the tour and pick up 2.5hours after the original pick up time. The service recovery , subsequent pick and tour porceeded smoothly without further hitch. The tour operator had arranged for a freelance tour guide to cover the itinerary stated on the booking. Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Less star ratings for the initial messy organisation and the overall tour rating. Badilica cistern was the highlight of the tour, for me

Arda, our tour guide, is very good. We can recommend this tour but make sure to research the entrance fees as it was not included in the package. He will give you an option to go or not to go on every stop. But, I hope the tour guide could give us a little information about the place that we said no even if we chose not to go inside. Anyhow, you must do this on your first day of your tour. Highly recommended.

I have booking today 30/09/2024 for Istanbul: Best of The City Full-Day Tour with Transfers. Pick up time was 08.00am I was waiting at the Hotel lobby from 07.50am but when its 08.35am and no one came so I contact with Klook Customer support after 1.30 hours talking with 4-5 customer supporter no one give me proper solution last one told me to give her picture proff that I am waiting? Then I send her photo that waiting at the hotel lobby. Then told me that weather is bad so tour is canceled but I told her its a lie I send her outside photo and told that weather is lovely no rain or anything else. Then they canceled my tour and wasted 02 hours from 08.00am to 10.00am. Please consider about cancel the tour before booking.

I signed up for a one-day tour of this old town. The overall experience was very good. The tour guide was very responsible and explained the whole process carefully. I learned a lot about Turkish history.
