Reviews
John B from Lally tours was a great guide , helpful and tried to provide as much information as possible. there was an elderly lady who was lost and did not come back on time and he took care to ensure that she is not missed out! :) Aliwee cave tour (paid admission )is good to visit as the conditions were upgraded recently and makes it pleasant and easy to enjoy the tour in the cave.
It was really good tour! I enjoyed the view of the cliff and Kinvara!!
The driver and tour guide was very polite and patient. The 100 minutes spent at the Cliffs of Moher was sufficient, but it included time for lunch. The cave visit required an additional 12 euros and lasted about 40 minutes, which felt like an optional activity with not much to see. Other attractions were mostly just driven past. I recommend joining a half-day tour, or taking a bus from Galway to the Cliffs of Moher yourself. You can get a timetable at the visitor center; the buses run quite frequently.
It was a very worthwhile and enjoyable trip. The guide was friendly and explained the history well during the trip. I'm not a native Enlish speaker, so I didn't understand all the explanations, but some of the stories were interesting. If I can participate in this tour again, I would like to participate and highly recommend it.
pretty solid way to spend the day. the driver/guide, John B, was great and it was a phenominal experience
I got motion sickness a bit because of the nature of the bus, but I guess it can't be helped because it's a place that's difficult to go alone. The guide is someone who speaks passionately and continuously. The restaurant where we had lunch wasn't bad either. I think it's a place worth visiting when you come to Ireland.
The driver and tour guide set off on time and returned to Galway on time! It’s a pity that God is not kind to us. Today’s photo of the Cliffs of Moher looks like a landscape painting!
The driver was very experienced. When we got off the bus, he placed a small clock on the front windshield to remind us of the boarding time. There was an English audio guide throughout the trip. In the future, it would be even better if there were a Chinese audio guide or a translator available.
Driver/guide was awesome! The itinerary wasn’t great as we spent nearly as long at the lunch stop as we did at the Cliffs of Moher - and the delayed stay at the lunch spot reduced our time allowance near the sea in Burren National Park. Sit on the left side of the bus for best views.
great trip. TQSM @ Shein / Lally tour
