The staff was very nice. The directions are great and it's easy to find (at Kyoto Station). The selection of yukatas was fantastic, and we received excellent advice. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed. I am absolutely thrilled and would definitely come back again. We paid about 60 Euros for two people, including hairstyles (total - that's unbeatable). It's a little far from Kiyomizu Temple, but it's very convenient near Kyoto Station. Buses 86 and 206 are just across the intersection. The pick-up staff are very friendly and there is no problem in communication. There are many choices of styles and they will also provide good matching suggestions. The skills are very good. They quickly completed the dressing and hair and makeup, making the children very happy. Thank you very much. Ai Kimono gave us very happy memories.
The location is very convenient. It is right at the subway exit of Kyoto Station. It is convenient to take photos anywhere. The staff are polite and enthusiastic. The children are very happy, especially the hairstyle is very careful. I will rent a kimono here next time.
Location: Very close to Kyoto Station. Experience: I genuinely want to express that this was a wonderful experience. We booked for 9:00 AM, and when we arrived at 8:45 AM, the staff were already bright-eyed and waiting for us. At every step, a professional colleague was there, very attentive, polite, and full of smiles. The price was also very reasonable! We started choosing clothes, putting on kimonos, doing makeup, and styling our hair at 9:00 AM, and were finished by 10:00 AM. We then spent the whole day taking photos and having fun, returning the clothes at 4:30 PM.
I was later for 15 minutes as I missed the bus. The staff was so kind to email me asking if I have issue finding the shop. There are actually 2 outlets; one at Kyoto station and another one near the temple. The staff transferred my name over and assisted me in choosing a kimono that matches me. I’m happy that the local praised my kimono and how it’s nicely tied up.
It was a very lovely experience, the ladies were very nice and kind. They helped me to pick a Kimono and matching Obi. The hairstyling was great. The staff also speaks great English!!! The location is across Kyōto Station, so perfect for a short stop before you move to other tourist attractions! Thank You for this wonderful experience and making a Childhood Dream come true 🩷

The rental time was a bit vague, but I was very satisfied because they took great care of everything from hair styling to clothes styling. However, my daughter had a hard time because it was hot. I think it would be better to experience it in slightly cooler weather.
