My daughter and I stayed one night. We were able to keep our luggage safely there until check out time. Staff were very helpful. Nice big relaxation room with tables and delicious chai at the cafe. Room was small but had everything we needed, very clean. Salthill area is a walk into Galway city center but many restaurants in close walking distance to Nest. Would stay again.

Great 4 night stay booked for the GIAF. Beautiful location in Salthill nice coastal path walk into town about 25 mins also good bus route. Beach on doorstep. Handy eating places and shops nearby. You will appreciate the tranqil location away from crowds. Double room with ensuite was comfy. Staff helpful and friendly. Asked for fan provided one weather hot! Nice outside seating area and funky decor in communal areas. Highly recommend this gem

Solo stay

Even though the property is outside of the tourist area, the local bus, line 401, picks up and drops off almost exactly in front of the property. I enjoyed having access to a washing machine and dryer (5€ for a load to wash, 5€ for a load to dry). On my first morning, I had the breakfast at the hostel, however I did not feel like it was worth paying 8€. I’d recommend going to O’Connors bakery, a 5 min walk from the hostel instead. Overall it was a great stay. Clean environment, friendly staff, and comfy rooms.

Enjoyed our stay. Very limited parking but street parking was fairly easy to find. Very comfortable and right on the bus route which was helpful for our adventuring.
