Great facility with a beautiful onsen-one of the best that I’ve experienced. Room was clean and well-organized with good amenities. Two things to consider: since it’s an older facility, there are not many plugs in the room for charging. Also, while there is a restaurant on site, you have to book it when you check in. Since this wasn’t offered to me, I didn’t have any food available for dinner, especially since the hotel is far from any town. The restaurant would not accommodate me when I asked at the desk. Be sure to ask when you check in. Breakfast, however, is very traditional Japanese food. Very tasty, though.

Great hotel with lovely onsen facilities. We booked the private open air bath room and it was so worth it! It is a bit of trek to get into the main town areas, but not too bad. Overall the hotel was lovely and the facilities were excellent.
