Nice stay here. I like the location. I thought it was quite central to many of the places that I wanted to visit that were quite spread out. The rooms are clean... albeit small, but I already knew that by looking at the pictures before I booked, so that's all good. It wasn't claustrophobic. The big window helped. The staff was very helpful, smiley, and friendly :)

i got there super early since i took the night bus from tokyo to kyoto. the staff were super helpful and replied right away to my email inquiries while i was on the way to the hotel. it’s conveniently located near a train station, nishiki market and kiyomizu-dera area too. while waiting for check-in time, there’s work stations in the lobby where you can charge your devices, rest, etc. not allowed to eat/drink tho which is understandable since they have a breakfast buffet in the lobby as well. if you want to tour kyoto before check-in, you can leave your luggage at the hotel. theres also several brochures at the entrance to help guide you around kyoto, and they have several items you can borrow like umbrellas, hair iron, etc. i highly recommend renting a bike near the hotel since theres a looooot of walking in kyoto. would book here again for sure! and thank you to the staff for giving me a free ugrade even tho I only booked one night!

Super well located both for walking and for taking transportation. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast has a wide variety of options (mostly Asian), well cooked and tasty. Some of the dishes change every day. The staff was very friendly.

very convenient spot to stay. the room was fairly big for what it was which was nice. like most hotels here, they had free amenities downstairs to take to your room which was nice. I didn’t utilize the breakfast, but it smelled great. the only thing I didn’t like was the washer/dryer didn’t work very well so I ended up having to do multiple cycles for my clothes. I also recommend using your own shampoo, soap, and conditioner as the ones they have kinda dry you out. otherwise, beautiful area!

great hotel, great room and very clean

EXCELLENT hotel! perfect location. It is almost at the center of ALL tourist attractions like shrines and temples. A kilometer away from Kyoto Station, with nearby train and bus stations. Most of the shrines and temples are within walking distance. very near the convenience stores, drug stores, and grocery stores. The hotel lobby is big and has a good ambience. Great and professional staff! 👏👏👏Excellent customer service There are so many nearby places to eat. The room is big enough! You can place your large luggage under the bed. I love how soft the bed is. The pillows were also soft like memory foam. There are many free amenities. They will also notify you through TV if your room hasn't been cleaned for two days. In addition, you can also store your luggage for FREE even if you have already checked out. I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely choose this hotel when I come back to Kyoto.

they upgraded my room so it's a bigger one than my fresa inn room in hiroshima, location near nishiki Market, a 5-10-minute bus ride from kyoto station, near also kiyomizu dera temple but I prefer a taxi ride to save from walking my tired feet, very clean, kind staff and breakfast is delicious... worth every cent that you paid.
