Fantastic

We loved our stay here for 9 nights. The location is superb — just a 2-minute walk from the Otsuka Station (Yamanote Line), with convenience stores within reach, plenty of restaurants nearby and a mini DonQui. We’ve been to Tokyo about 7x in the last 2 years, and this is by far the best hotel and best Toyoko Inn we’ve stayed at. We previously stayed at the Toyoko Inn in Tawaramachi, but this one definitely beats it. They offer free onigiri in different flavors, along with coffee and juices for breakfast. Rooms are cleaned every 4 days, which worked well for our stay. During our trip, my fiancé lost his phone when we stayed near Mt. Fuji for one night. The kind front office staff, Ms. Kobayashi, truly went above and beyond to help us. She called the bus stations, police stations, and even the hotel we previously stayed at to assist us in locating it. We are incredibly grateful for her help. Truly an amazing stay. In fact, I’ve already booked this place again for my solo trip in May.

A good alternate place to stay . 3 mins away from the Yamanote train station makes it very convenient place. Did I mention Don Quijote close by? Place is not too touristy .. love the local vibe , you won't be able to get in Shinjuku or even Asakusa area. Lots of places to eat. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and with my window showing cherry blossoms. During our stay, there are more locals staying. Breakfast is decent , onigiri, soup, bread, coffee and juice.. quite filling plus you can also get some of the breads and onigiri to go. The locals does it so we did too :}
