The hotel is well located close to all the main shopping, landmarks and the market. The front office staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast could be better

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Living Hotel Das Viktualienmarkt. The location is excellent—within walking distance of many of Munich's top attractions, as well as numerous great restaurants, and cafés. One of the biggest advantages is the convenient access to public transportation. The hotel is just a block from a streetcar stop, making it easy to reach the train station, access car rental locations, and explore other parts of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even assisted me with setting up the MVV public transportation app, which made it easy for us to purchase day passes and navigate the city. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend them to anyone visiting Munich.

Great
This hotel is a great location for exploring Old Town on foot and located right across from the fun Viktualienmarkt with lots of food vendors. The single business rooms are small and pretty bare bones but clean and adequate after busy days of sightseeing. The buffet breakfast was very good with good variety. The staff was helpful. The narrow hall of mirrors from the lobby to many of the rooms is disconcerting!

Getting to hotel was difficult by car in rush hour traffic. The valet parking is the only answer. Staff very helpful. Centrally located near center of Munich. Very walkable.

Our room was very nice, the staff went out of their way to help us. We got there at 11:00am after a 8 hours flight from the US. We were able to get into our rooms right away which was awesome! Sebastian the door man was the nicest man! Very helpful! The location was great for us. We only spent one day/night in Munich and it was close to all the things we wanted to see easily. The market is right across the street which was fun to check out too. If we’re back in Munich, I’d definitely return.

The location could not be better. Easy walking distance to most attractions. It was wonderful to have our room ready early after a very long flight. The room was very clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good. The negative for our stay was our room was outside the main hotel. Because our windows faced a walkway, we could not keep our window curtains open so the room was very dark. There should be sufficient extra lighting in the room because of this. The bed was a little hard for me. A topper would make it more comfortable.

Front staff was excellent. Very helpful. A lot of traffic/ Road noise. Late night noise out front of building. Room was very plain. Not cozy at all. Carpets in hallways & stairs were very old/tired. The location was the best!
