This was the third hostel we stayed at in Siargao, and it was definitely worth the price. We really enjoyed our stay — the place was very clean, had great amenities, and the staff were friendly. We especially appreciated that they allowed outside food and even let guests cook, which most hostels in Siargao don’t usually allow.

I had an amazing stay in IAO! The place has a fantastic ambiance—clean, peaceful, and with super helpful staff. It’s conveniently located in a quiet area, and there’s a vegan Filipino carinderia just across the street, which was a huge plus. As a first-time solo traveler, I booked a private room and it exceeded my expectations. The shared bathroom was spotless, had hot water, and the water pressure in the toilet was excellent. The fast Wi-Fi allowed me to work comfortably from my room, and there’s also a nice outdoor seating area near the reception if you want a change of scenery. The Saturday family dinners were a great way to meet new people, and I loved the recreational amenities on the second floor, including a billiard table, table tennis, darts, and a foosball table. It’s the perfect spot to unwind! The place is affordable, well-lit, spacious, and not overcrowded. They’re even building a new swimming pool, expected to be ready by February, so I can’t wait to come back and experience it!

Definitely a must stay if ever you’re in Siargao travelling solo! I stayed at a private room but I heard shared rooms were also a great option! Staff and guests are cool to chill with. Activities like pool, table tennis, and foosball at the roofdeck. Not to mention trivia nights, mafia, and other fun games scheduled at night before you go out and party. As for food, you can check out Vedya fronting the hostel or you can also cook at their kitchen. Definitely going back!

Fun hostel to stay at. Has activities almost every night. The staffs are friendly and very accommodating.
