This is a great place to stay. It is very central and close to walk to many of the historic sites, restaurants, and the marina. The staff were great, always helpful with suggestions and help when needed. Right outside the door there’s a great pizza place, and lots of other really nice places near by. Breakfast was really nice, and they have a minibar in their terrace room to have a glass of wine. Only downside is there are no elevators, so be ready to carry your bags up 4 flights of stairs. We parked at Gaglini parade for 2 days. Just a five minute walk to the hotel.

Very clean room, made up daily. Light breakfast. Time arrival since reception is only staffed at certain times. Great location with parking garage €20/day 2.5 blocks away.

My main concern with this place was not the room itself (even though the window was basically bricked in, and there was no natural light in there) but the reception staff. The woman at the reception was rude and not very accommodating, she couldn’t reply to simple questions and inquiries, and made the check in process feel very stressful. I’ve been to Italy many times (first time in Palermo), and I think this was the worst service experience I’ve had. On the contrary, the maintenance/cleaning lady was extremely nice and helpful. Even though I don’t speak Italian and she doesn’t speak English, we communicated through a translator app and she was very hospitable and kind!

The hotel is in a quiet area within easy walking distance of the main attractions. The rooms were very comfortable. The pizzeria just opposite was fantastic & full of locals. Would stay again.

The breakfast only started at 8:30 which is much later than all others (typically 7:30). Reception is operational at limited hours and there is an ice machine but we were told not to use.
