Very clean and spacious room! Amenities were all present and offered as needed! But the best was the staff: very pleasant, welcoming and very helpful! Also very beautiful gift bags that can be brought home

We stayed there 2 times in the same year. Love the hotel and staff. So kind, and their traditional style of greeting and saying goodbyes are soul touching. Thank you for the great souvenirs and we'll be back.

What sets this Ryocan apart is the staff. They are so helpful and kind. They accommodated all our dietary restrictions (vegetarian, no red meat etc) and were extremely helpful.

An incredible experience. We had the in-room dinner and breakfast (half-board). It was extravagant and the staff walked us through every part of what it was and how to eat properly. Very traditional and staff were very friendly, humble, and attentive.

Stayed with kids

Hotel was exceptional with very warm staff members who make you feel at home, to a traditional, old school Japan that we craved for, to a very delicious traditional Japanese breakfast! I just wished, I was able to reserve for a traditional in-room dinner ahead of time as they ran out of spots. Highly recommended!
