When we arrived around 4:30pm to check in, there were 3 reception counters staffed. However, none of the staff called us forward to check in, and we soon realised why - all the staff left their counters Just Before 5pm!, leaving a line of 4-5 families waiting to check in. This delayed check in process made us and some other families late to Mickey’s Halloween party, and was quite a sour note to start our Disney adventure. The TVs in the room did not allow casting from our phones (for parents looking to entertain children!). We liked that the Disney resort had shuttle buses to all the different Parks.
