Stayed with family

The hotel is amazing as are all the staff that work there. We had zero issues whilst staying at the hotel. The rooms are kept very tidy and cleaned to perfection. The overall tidiness of the hotel is also incredible, absolutely spotless. The rooftop terrace has some amazing views which can be paired with a cold beverage on a hot summers day with the staff on hand to check on you and promptly take empties away. The hotel is situated rather close to lot of top restaurants and shops and even the local market so you feel like you're in the heart of the city. I would highly recommend this hotel to travellers of all backgrounds as you are well looked after at this hotel.

Clean and spacious room, friendly staffs, lots of foodies nearby, very near to a tram station and to Edeka market 👍👌. Free minibar beverage supply and replenished daily (beer water, coke, etc and aperitif coupons usable for their resto and rooftop bar. Recognizes Expedia VIP status with an higher tier aperitif coupon 😊 Would highly recommend this hotel 👍👌

I have just completed my stay at Deutsche Eiche and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a fantastic location, with easy access to everything Munich has to offer. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making me feel comfortable throughout my stay. My room was clean, well-maintained, and provided everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and inviting, and I particularly appreciated the attention to detail and excellent service. My only criticism would be that the air conditioning in our room, despite being set to 16C, wasn’t effective and the hotel had to supply an additional fan to help with the heat in the room. As we were there during a heatwave, air conditioning was essential. Overall, I would happily recommend Deutsche Eiche and would not hesitate to stay there again on a future visit to Munich.

Fantastic
This is an out in the open gay friendly hotel and the vibe is male gay hook up culture. This could be seen from the start with the front desk also being the check in for a male only spa. The posters are all about gay events and Freddie Mercury references. This was therefore not the place for me. However, this is also a well run hotel with lovely rooms, friendly staff and a good breakfast.

Great location, liked the room, loved the free water and beer in the fridge. The air conditioner in our room didn't do much. It ran the whole time but never got any cooler. I asked the desk to look at it, not sure if they did. It never got any better. We were only in the room at night, so didn't follow up on it. Opened the balcony window at night.

Wonderful location. We were on the 5th and the roof top bar was a bit loud. Room was clean and had lots of room! Staff was helpful with luggage storage and parking
