hotel pools were like 20 ft from ocean. nice to see ocean from pool/jacuzzi. clean rooms. carpet worn. balcony nice can sit out on. like the infrastructure to get to room to pools to parking lot-very close and easy. gym clean offers treadmills etc. did not go all inclusive. beach view great. next to pelican pier walk from hotel right out back take boat tour. staff brought extra towels up to room in 5 min after request. will b staying again. preferred to other hotel from last visit

The best part of this hotel is the beach by the sea tower. If your traveling to this hotel without kids I would recommend requesting ocean front in the sea tower. Beach is very nice, not as many kids and close to a quiet pool. I was very disappointed with the front desk managers. I made a very specific request to stay in the sea tower close to the friends we were traveling with. I booked the trip through Expedia and sent message directly to the hotel. when we arrived they placed us in the farthest tower away from our friends. When I asked about my request, the manager said they don't get notes from Expedia. . Very unusual since I’ve used Expedia many times to communicate with hotels and I’ve had no problems in the past. They did accommodate us in the sea tower, but I had one of the worst rooms overlooking the mechanics. I had to go back to the desk several times asking if we could move. finally when I offered to pay for an upgrade suddenly a room was available. I recommend you calling the desk directly if you have a specific request. The remaining staff at the hotel we’re all very pleasant. The rooms are very basic, but they were clean. The breakfast was very good, but I would also recommend heading down the beach and finding an outdoor restaurant to enjoy your breakfast with a view overall the Holiday Inn is fine if you need to stick to a budget. If you want something a little nicer I would look elsewhere.

My partner and I had such a fantastic stay in Aruba! This is the 3rd time I’ve came back and booked this hotel. The staff were amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and always cracking jokes with us. They made our trip even more memorable. Such a wonderful experience : )

Had a wonderful stay!! Loved having the beach right outside the hotel and walking down to the local shops and restaurants

This was our 5th time staying here. It’s not the fanciest but we love the location, the pools and the beach. We never do all inclusive because there are so many amazing restaurants on the island. The staff was very nice except there’s a rude kid at the towel place by sea tower. I’m not sure why you can only have one towel. You put one down to sit on because the beach chairs are not the most comfortable it gets soaked and you have nothing to dry yourself with! For some reason, our room was only cleaned twice the whole week which was ok but we had to chase someone down in the hall for towels one day. And I called two weeks in advance to request a particular building we wanted to stay in, but when we got there they said they had no note in the computer. Luckily they ended up moving us to where we wanted to be but we shouldn’t have to do this as we’re checking in every time.

Everyone was wonderful I stayed in building 7 was horrible beside the building was a night club every night between 9 and 3 am the music shook the building made it impossible to sleep very disturbing for that reason I would never go back to that resort

Resort was in a great location. The beach was beautiful. Busy. But not over-crowded. All employees were helpful and kind. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Ocean-view balcony was a great place to enjoy the breeze and fabulous view.

Reynaldo at the front door was amazing. He greeted us each time we came or left. Helped with parking and luggage. Answered questions about the hotel or nearby offerings. Was just "down home" friendly and seemed to genuinely care about us. I have a cousin who visits Aruba regularly and stays at the Ritz. I think that is indulgent when the Holiday Inn offers such a comfortable facility right in the middle of so many shopping and eating options.

Our stay was not up to our expectation.
