Fantastic
The hotel location was a 10 minute walk from the coach station, also a short walk to the shopping centre, which has lots of restaurants. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, a delicious breakfast was provided. I enjoyed my stay at Hampton by Hilton in Bristol, and will stay there again.

Fantastic
Exceeded expectations. Well equipped and stylish room with a very comfortable bed and excellent air con. Good, varied breakfast options. Every member of staff I dealt with was extremely professional, helpful and a pleasure to talk to.

Room was half clean, shower head was moldy, blood on bedsheets, towels were dirty, appearance looked clean but it was far from it.. Breakfast was terrible 1st day went down to breakfast, scrambled eggs looked disgusting, cooked breakfast is very sad, asked for a fried egg because I don't eat scrambled was told 'we don't do that', everything else looked like it would give you food poisoning. Waffle machine had a cup to pour the batter into it and that had chocolate sauce and other stuff in it. Overall it was not great. I probably will not come here again.

Well below standard I expect from Hilton Hotels. Room basic, Shower poor no reasonable water flow, Air con not adjustable, room not serviced during stay, snak bar closed for all of stay, car parking fee exorbitant at £28 per day

Good

Stayed with kids

The breakfast was lacklustre and the cooked breakfast was lacking thought and either over or undercooked with cheap ingredients. The building exterior was filthy including a large dead baby seagull, which i told the team about on the first day as my 9 year old was worried, it remained there for the next 3 days. Parking is expensive in NCP at 28 quid for 24 hours. Honestly unless forced, go elsewhere!!! The rooms are standard, beds comfy, shower ample. I would not use Hampton again based on this experience.

All the staff were very friendly like a big family. The hotel is very close to the shopping centre and a nice 15min walk to Centre or Harbourside

Good
unfortunately, this hotel was a very let down for the price. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which was never mentioned on the Expedia listing. The corridors were dusty and strong paint fumes, which brought on my astnma. If I had known about the building works, I wouldn't have booked. The room quality was also disappointing. Our bath towel had noticeable fake tan/makeup stains on it, and the room layout was poorly thought out, there was no plug socket near the kettle that actually fit the plug, so we had to boil it on the bedside table. The free breakfast was ok, nothing special, the scrambled eggs were terrible. On the plus side, the hotel gym is actually good, and the staff were fantastic, really polite and helpful. Hopefully when the hotel is fully renovated, it will be better. Also note the area around the area isn't the safest, particularly behind the hotel, I was scared to park on the street behind.
