We have used B&B hotels many many times for 1 night stop overs on longer journeys. This time was no different, easy to find a couple of minutes off the motorway, easy safe car parking, friendly straight forward check in. A triple room is perfect for the 3 of us (2 adults and a 5 year old) . You get exactly what you pay for a basic, but clean room with plenty of hot water and good wi-fi. We didn't get breakfast this time but it's usually good and they even have some Gluten free choices for me.
I find the rooms so much nicer than some other motorway motel/hotels at a very reasonable price.

We arrived at the hotel around 12:20 am, but unfortunately, the gate to the property was closed. It took us over an hour to find a way to enter. Once we managed to get in, we encountered further issues with the self-check-in process as my code did not work. Eventually, I found a way to contact a person at the B&B because nobody from Expedia was responding to me. It turned out to be a terrible experience overall. To make matters worse, we couldn't get any sleep during the night. The person in the room behind us was snoring loudly, the neighboring room had a barking dog, and to top it all off, we could hear a couple arguing nearby. It was an incredibly frustrating and sleepless night.
