Good

Solo stay

Clean room and nice breakfast. However, the bed was very small and not comfortable, which is very important when you sleep in a hotel.

Good

This hotel is fine if you’re just looking for somewhere to crash each night after sightseeing. Breakfast was included, and was quite plentiful. The hotel is not in a particularly convenient location—very few restaurants in the area. And the hotel itself is a bit odd—no check-in staff or visible cleaning staff. Corridors and elevator all have motion-sensing lights, so always appear quite dark at first. The parking garage is underground, and the entrance into the hotel from the garage is actually pretty scary. The room is clean, but very sparsely furnished. There’s no AC, so we slept with our window open, and the street noise was pretty disruptive. The bed was fairly comfortable, but the blackout curtains (for summer visitors) really weren’t adequate. All things considered, I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Great

The shower drain was clogged. Water collected and floor was as it is slippery. There’s no shower enclosure - so naturally shower water would escape to the rest of the bathroom.

The room was fairly small and no chair or table and no air conditioning. We had to leave window open for air, and it’s on a busy street corner so noisy during the day, and ear plugs were provided.. bed was very comfortable and even though there’s no front desk, we got our code on email and it was easy to get into our room. Hotel is a bit out of capital Reykjavík area, but transit very close. Breakfast was great, and there is a little bar area with soup available. It was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Great

Stayed with family · For friends and family

room is clean and spacious, nice bathroom, the availability of an electric water kettle was great, breakfast is excellent except for a piece of hair I found in my wafflemix, but no big deal, as it happens, they should wear a hairnet when preparing food. Wifi is great, the only staff I met was the kitchen worker who was very nice. The only thing that really bummed me and my daughter was the lack of parking for late check ins, as we didn't know where to park because we don't understand your street signs. We had to drive around to look for a parking garage, the instruction was to park for a km. and a half from the hotel building but no specific street location. We finally stopped at a Lemon store parking lot and asked the locals who told us we can park right there at the grocery lot all nite. It was very frustrating.

Fantastic
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful especially Kata. There was only one issue that we experienced. The sink was slow to drain. We liked the location because it was close to the Ring Road access and easy access to downtown. Another issue is parking. They have 70 rooms but only 16 parking places. They instruct you to park in the neighborhood around the hotel. I was quite reluctant to park just anywhere but eventually settled upon a little business location right across the street. Oh, and we loved the Icelandic Lamb stew served in the evening. We recommend the hotel and should we go to Iceland again we would stay there again.
