Everything was just okay. Worst experience was with room cleaning and staff. For room cleaning they basically pulled over the sheets on the bed. Never bothered to clean the bathroom floor. Woke up one morning to cleaning clew slamming the door of adjacent room multiple times at 5:30 AM. Went outside to tell her to stop when she approached me with a stern face saying “what”, then walked away. Spoke to front desk person told me “I can tell the manager but it won’t make any difference”. Breakfast is somewhat good with freshly made omelet option. Hotel is very busy with cruise and airline personnel. If looking for comfortable stay for families, look somewhere else. If looking for basic accommodation just for sleeping at night (hopefully), it might be okay.

Really loud. Could hear street noise all night. Rooms were hot. AC would not cool rooms. Clean room. Not worth the cost of one night.

If I had known how strict they would be about check in time I never would have booked this hotel. We flew in on a red eye flight that landed at 5AM. We were forced to wander around for 11 hours until check in time (at 4PM). They literally made everyone wait until 4PM on the dot, so at that time there was a huge rush of people trying to check in. When we inquired if the room would be ready even a tiny bit early staff was quite rude and insisted we should have booked two nights if we wanted an early check in. I hardly ever leave reviews let alone bad ones, but felt so annoyed by this situation and how the staff handled it. Hopefully I can save someone else from having to nap in a hotel lobby for 2 hours.

The room had black mold, smelled and the bathroom and hall floors looked like they had not been mopped in awhile. It is not what I would expect for an $800 a night hotel room.

I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but this stay was very disappointing. For the price we paid, I expected a much better experience. The room was extremely small and didn’t even include basic amenities like a microwave or refrigerator, which is surprising for a hotel in this price range. The biggest issue was the air conditioning. It wasn’t working properly, making the room uncomfortable. We reported the problem to the front desk, but nothing was done to fix it during our stay. Overall, the experience did not match the premium price charged. There are far better options in Anchorage that offer better value and service. I would not stay here again.

IAT is near train station. We walked to train station. Uber is also an option and no problem even for early morning departure. If you dont need train be warned the whistles are loud and could be disturbing.

For $700 per night the hotel need to provide much more. Table lamp had dust layer. Bathroom had 2 shampoo and one conditioner bottles - no body wash, shower door not closing completely, no complimentary water bottles. Beds were ok not super comfortable.
