Room was clean. Small bathroom, sink in the bedroom. No nightstand beside the second bed but 2 holes in the wall ( looked like something got ripped out). One bed squeaked terrible whenever person moved. Would be a nice quiet area if there wasn't a big construction zone nearby. Noisy all day long, starting at 7am

Stayed with family

We stayed at the Mille Stelle in Heidelberg for one night while making our way from Fussen to Oberwesel. While the hotel doesn't have it's own parking, it wasn't difficult to find a spot on the main street (that was free until 8am) and then the hotel had a voucher you could put in your windshield to pay $10/day for street parking. When we first walked in the hotel looked a little more economical than we were expecting, but we were only there for one night, so no big deal. We had booked a family room for us and our two teens. When we got to our room it was HUGE. At least 15 foot ceilings, two bedrooms, a dining area, separate kitchen, bathroom with a separate shower room. Basically an apartment. The furnishings were simple, the beds comfortable, the floor was very creaky (but it is an old building so to be expected). The rear door in the room didn't open but appeared to connect to the staircase for the rest of the hotel. We weren't concerned at all safety-wise, but it was a little noisy in the morning. The location of the hotel was further from the city center than we would have liked but that was no fault of the hotel. This would be a great place for a family to stay for multiple nights. Especially if you want to cook any of your own meals.

The room was very tiny, but clean. It was close to the old area of Heidelberg. There were no tourist brochures or maps. Only plastic chairs in the room. Lobby was devoid of any furniture. It was far too expensive for such a basic room.

Nice clean room on a quiet side street half way between the train station and Altstadt for a great price. Includes a free coffee in the morning and there’s a bakery close by. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic
The Mille Stelle allowed us to store our bags before the arrival time. The room was small but enough room for us to easily move about. There were dining options and shopping within easy walking distance. Water and tokens for coffee were included for each days stay. On our last night, there were people talking outside at 3am. As a light sleeper, this woke me up. But it was only one night out of three. Would recommend the Hotel Mille Stelle.

Self check in system took a little getting used to. Room was spacious and spotless. We had a small problem with the shower which was dealt with quickly but be aware that the front desk is only staffed afternoon and evening. Could be a problem outside those hours.
