My room didn’t have a fridge, it didn’t have a bathroom fan that worked. Also the air conditioning wasn’t working very good. Had a horrible sleep because the room was to warm and not enough towels.

This hotel is in an excellent location. The views are exceptional. The staff are top notch. The down side is that this hotel is tired and needs a lot of sprucing up. There are a lot of little things that don't work like room keys needing reprogramming. The air conditioning was spotty, Bathroom fan filter was choked with dust and lint - otherwise the facility was clean and the staff are marvelous. If you arrive in a full sized SUV you absolutely won't fit in the parking garage! Before you make your booking or at least when you check in, be aware that you may have to "order" a mini fridge or microwave since they're not always installed in the rooms. Once I asked for a fridge, it was delivered in less than 10 minutes :) Knowing all of this, and what I need to do to address it, I'd probably stay here again.

Fantastic location, spectacular view, unique layout and historic features in the hotel. Love that there are 3 elevators (all working) so you never have to wait long. Rooms are a bit dated and worn, but clean and spacious and I cannot say enough about the view. Would stay again.

The checkin process was really smooth, and staff were helpful and friendly. Our room seemed slightly outdated but clean. Restaurant was a neat experience but we didn’t know the price beforehand and it was a bit of a shock. Overall great experience

Room looks to be rented by the hour. No air conditioning except for concierge level rooms, drain in tub was completely clogged. Makes a motel 6 look like a Sandals. Apparently this was "THE" place to be in Edmonton 30 years ago- not so much anymore.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff. My drawbacks are only 2 pillows on the bed and nothing extra (blankets or pillows) in the room. Quite disappointing. The parking is also not.free...which...should be included in the price. Liked the room, building, location, and staff. Didn't like those drawbacks

Perfect location to downtown, loved the ambience and old feel of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend dinner at La Ronde!

The staff here are incredible, super friendly and helpful during our stay. Made us feel very special! We had a fantastic view of the river valley. Comfortable bed and pillows. Will be staying here again.

This is my favourite hotel to stay in Edmonton. The staff are so, so helpful and friendly. The rooms are pleasant, and you get good views - in some cases, excellent views. Ask for a room with a view when booking. Everything was neat and clean. The hotel being downtown is so central to all the places I needed to visit. I highly recommend Chateau LaCombe.
