Room was dingy. Noise from the units outside the (one small) window (aircon, I’m assuming; was awful. Didn’t get a wink of sleep.

The property was clean and breakfast was great. The bar food was very good for a burger and chips. We booked 2 rooms and each one was well equipped for all our needs.

Great location with parking - a mere tram ride from Central Edinburgh. Lots of places to eat close to the water. Great staff. The first Malmaison does not disappoint.

Positives. Parking was great . Staff was great. Think for the price the room wasn’t great. No air con. Bathroom fan didn’t work. Refrigerator didn’t work properly. I won’t be returning .
