Solo stay

This was by far the worst stay I’ve ever had. You are renting a room. I’ve stayed here once before and had zero issues. This time the other tenants were up and partying until 3 AM. There’s no one to help when this happens and I was stuck in my room just having to listen to this for hours. The room was disgusting, dirt in the bed. Residue on the bathroom sink. It’s like you’re getting a shared room but the hosts are partying the entire time. Would never recommend anyone staying here and Hotels.com should not offer this property.

It started on a good note, we came a day early and we could rent the room an extra day, quick response but weird, Venmo an individual before getting any information but ok. We got to the room and it was as cold as a refrigerator. I had read another review that there was only one shared thermostat in the house, so we found it on the fourth floor and it was set to air conditioner at 57° no problem, we turned the heat on to 66. That didn’t last long as someone kept setting it back to air conditioner in the 50s all weekend. The room behind us had someone screaming and banging each night from about one until 4 AM with no response from the staff when we alerted them. We got a staff phone call at about one in the morning to ask if our car was parked alongside the house, which was not, and we were asleep. They did not take our car or license plate to know who owned what car so got constant texts about parking issues. Would definitely not recommend staying here.

Good

The neighborhood ain’t the best but the property is fine. Super small parking lot. Not fan of the Multi tenet system where we have to share spaces with strangers.

Fantastic

Solo stay

Had a good experience here. Please note, this is not a conventional hotel. It is a no contact Air BnB style place with private rooms and common areas. The room had a private bathroom and a lock, but the kitchen and living room were common areas. To get the entry codes I had to send a photo of my ID to the staff, which was tricky because there is no way to do that in the Hotels.com app. Once checked in I was very satisfied with the accommodations and the neighborhood. I used street parking rather than the pay parking. There are a couple of convenience stores nearby that are open late.

Clean room, parking was horrible. Host entered the room without knocking or asking for permission on my first night stay to place ant traps

We never stayed. There was absolutely no parking available and there was no direct communication, it was only via text messaging. They gave us the code to enter but it did not work. If we even stayed there we would have to to park my car away from the area.

Was promised a room with a patio door but this did not happen upon arrival which was disappointing. The room was very clean and all the laundry smelt lovely however the bottom of the shower filled up with water and did not drain properly. Unfortunately the upstairs guests were very noisy and kept going outside to smoke weed so it drifted into the apartment block. Fion did move us to another room which was again very clean, quieter and more spacious. We had the same problem with the shower draining. The area isn’t the best however it was a great location for LA tourist spots and for the price it was amazing value. Fion was extremely responsive in her correspondence and overall I would recommend.
