Had a fab weekend in a room with a great view. Lovely hotel if you like history and buildings with a story me and my husband do. The food and drink was good and there is a great walk to Salisbury town stepping back in time.

The hotel was good because of the very interesting history of the property. The staff was excellent. But be aware, there is NO AC in the rooms and was EXTREMELY uncomfortable.

Staff member was not interested in checking me in, and decided to to serve those at the bar. I was waiting at the reception desk for 15mins. Once the bar was served, the staff member rested against the bar and played on their phone continuing to ignore the reception desk.
Once I got their attention, they were not ready with the appropriate system and the room key could not found. I was given the spare key for my stay.

Historic old mill, wonderful location, especially if you love running water.. Staff were exceedingly helpful, especially Dylan and Tracey. All in very good. Senior management would help by getting plumbing problems fixed asap, and staffing up for big events.

Beautiful setting. My room overlooked the mill and the sound soothed me to sleep. Room well appointed. Very clean. Very attentive staff.

We were told this building was 960 years old. It is very delightful and a wonderful walk to town.
Dinner was amazing - we had the bang bang chicken and steak frites, plus chocolate mousse. Every bite was fabulous! Kuddos to the chef.
I would say the "king" bed is more like a queen in the United States, and there was a lot of pub noise, but it all quieted down after 10:30 - so we slept very well.
I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I am so coming back here! The staff were outstanding - really helpful and friendly. Beautiful rooms, clean and tidy. The location is amazing. Excellent breakfast. (The only negative was that it said food was served 5pm-8.30pm, but it didn't say that this wasn't on a Sunday! However, one of the barmen suggested another place which we went to, and was amazing).
