Deluxe Double Room with balcony · 2 Adults · 2 Nights

Location is good, steps away from the other branch of Miyahara, though we didn't go there. Taichung Old Train Station, Gancheng Bus Station, Miyahara and Second Market are all a few hundred meters away and can easily be reached on foot. We stayed at a room with balcony, where smoking is allowed. The room was clean and spacious enough. Cons are the bed is quite uncomfortable for someone with back problem, there's shower curtain, but water from the shower still gets the floor wet, and there's a step up to the bathroom, which is not that convenient if with mobility issues.

There are a couple of bus stops nearby and the main Taichung TRA and MRT Station is a short walk away. Soundproofing isn't great but that's only an issue if there are others who party/return late during your dates (happened to us for at least 2 nights). Instant tea and coffee is self service at the lobby.
