Great
Excellent helpful staff. Very comfortable bed and air conditioning made the stay very pleasant. Convenient location. Two negatives - food quality in the restaurant was low for a 4 star hotel (I tried the burger). Outdoor seating could be made nicer. Currently feels like a smoking zone. Nothing pleasant about sitting there.

The station is next to the hotel and follow the Taxi signs as the Taxi rank is next to the hotel. Perfect if you don't want to walk far and then need a taxi from hotel to anywhere. I shall stay here again.

We booked in for two nights to attend a local wedding. The hotel was in a great location right next to the station and about a 15 minute walk down to the seaside. The rooms however, were quite frankly, bad. There were multiple mysterious stains on the carpet, the bedding felt cheap, and the bathroom was horrendous. There was no door to the shower, and the curtain only came about halfway to the top of the tub so the bathroom flooded when we showered. We also were only given two towels the first night, which was difficult. The leather headboard on our bed was cracked and peeling. This didn't bother us much, but the room overlooked the railroad tracks and we did hear trains all night. Overall, the hotel felt tired, and very much not worth the 651 quid we paid for two nights.
