About the event
Ptolemy Museum's New Special Exhibition.
Hong Kong's first-ever classical telescope-themed exhibition with all exhibits publicly displayed in the city for the very first time! This cross-temporal feast of science and art will revisit humanity's grand journey of exploring the universe through optics.
At the core of the exhibition are the Ptolemy Museum's treasured European antique telescopes, tracing the remarkable journey of humanity's pursuit of starlight from the era of ancient Greece to the modern Scientific Revolution. Through telescopes, ancient astrolabes, rare books, art prints, and other precious artifacts, complemented by immersive interactive art installations, the exhibition blends scientific innovation with artistic culture, guiding visitors through an optical journey across the history of human civilization.
Exhibition details will be unveiled this month, alongside the announcement of activities and cultural creative products. Follow our social media for the latest updates!
