6 years after her last concert in Singapore, Emi Fujita returns with her most comprehensive show to date, “Emi Fujita - Camomile Greatest Hits Concert” on 25 February (Sat) 2023 8pm, performing the greatest hits from her longstanding career.

Responsible for some of the world's greatest audiophile vocal recordings in the past decades such as her version of “Fields of Gold” (Sting), “First of May” (Bee Gees) “Desperado” (Eagles), “All My Loving” (The Beatles) and “Longer” (Dan Fogelberg), Emi Fujita is renowned for her pristine and soothing voice which has gained her the reputation of “Sound Therapy” and “Sound of Medicine”, similar to the stress relieving effect of “camomile”.

Emi Fujita has released 8 albums in her hugely successful “Camomile” series since 2001. The latest instalment in 2018, “Camomile Colors” included signature renditions of “Close To You” (Carpenters), “Vincent” (Don McLean), “You Raise Me Up” (Josh Groban) and the famous folk tune “The Water is Wide”. Many of the Camomile series albums have been awarded with Platinum and Gold Disc Awards all over Asia, including Singapore.

Hugely versatile in her interpretations, Emi Fujita loves to surprise her audiences. In her previous show here, she charmed the audience with a Teresa Teng classic, sung in Mandarin, no less.

An essential favourite at every Emi Fujita show is the Japanese classic “Hidamari no Uta”, theme song from the J-Drama “Under One Roof 2”, first released in 1995 when she was the lead vocalist of popular J-pop group Le Couple. The single for the song sold almost 2 million copies, and made Emi Fujita a household name, winning the Japan Record Award for Excellent Album.
