Concert Introduction
The Singapore Lyric Opera's Celebration Gala Concert is an event to be enjoyed by many Singaporeans. With popular operatic highlights from famous operas that the company had presented over the years, our 3-year absence celebration concert is a defining step towards the positive outlook of presenting large opera productions again in the post-pandemic era. The Gala Concert is a statement of positivity and an invitation to the wider Singaporean audience to go back to the theatres and soak in the electrifying atmosphere of music presented by our chorus, the orchestra, and our soloists. Our audience can enjoy the magic that music creates once again, and have a deeper appreciation of what has been lost in the stopgap years that the pandemic had brought upon to live performances.
