Booking this tour was seamless. The host will confirm right after the booking is made and they don't make one tour crowded 1-4 persons.
The Miyajima walking tour was an incredible blend of history and natural beauty. Every step revealed something fascinating, from the famous Torii Gate to the ancient temples surrounded by stunning scenery. What made it special was how the host personalized it for me, making sure I got to see what interested me the most. It was flexible, allowing me to take my time at each spot and really soak in the experience. This tour didn't just show me Miyajima; it made me feel connected to its stories and landscapes, leaving me with unforgettable memories.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our guide during our visit to Miyajima and Hiroshima. From the very beginning, she made everything incredibly easy and comfortable — she came to pick us up directly from the train station with a warm smile that set the tone for the whole day. We started the tour in Miyajima, where she showed us all the highlights of the island, sharing fascinating stories and historical context that brought every place to life. Later, in Hiroshima, her explanations were both informative and deeply respectful, helping us understand the significance of what we were seeing while always keeping the experience engaging and accessible. What truly stood out was her kindness, patience, and cheerful personality. She made us feel like we were visiting the city with a friend, and her passion for sharing her culture was clear in every moment. If you're considering booking a guide in this area, don’t hesitate — we wholeheartedly recommend her!!

Visited with my 14yo son. The A dome, Peace Park were very somber experiences and the museum was one of the best I have ever visited, so interesting. The Okonomiyaki lunch was delicious and Miyajima was beautiful. Really enjoyed this day.

The Miyajima tour was a peaceful and scenic experience, and I really enjoyed it. The highlight was visiting the iconic floating torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine—absolutely stunning, especially during high tide. We also explored the charming island streets and tried local snacks like grilled oysters and momiji manju. Our tour guide RINO is the best! she’s super energetic and cheerful, which made the experience even more memorable. The relaxed atmosphere, friendly deer, and beautiful views made it a truly worthwhile trip.

I can't remember the name of our guide from the day but she was from Chile and did a fantatic job of switching between Spanish and English all day for the tour group, whilst also speaking fluent Japanese when required for getting us all around. She must have been mentally shattered by the end of the day.
She had good knowledge of the history of both Hiroshima and the bombing as well as the history of Miyajima.
If you wish to spend more time looking around either Memorial Park or Miyajima I recommend staying extra day or two in Hiroshima or even a night out on Miyajima island itself.
A great day out and worth the money.

It felt like we were visiting a friend and he was showing us around his city. we let him know it’s my birthday trip and he dedicated a song for me! really thoughtful and patient with us. thanks Kaku for a great day trip in Hiroshima.
