We had an amazing experience at this elephant sanctuary. We got to feed and bathe the elephants, and the staff explained everything clearly and with so much care. Knowing the elephants were rescued from circuses and other places where they were treated badly made the experience even more meaningful. Everything was perfectly organized – including hotel transfer, snacks, water, and towels on site. The team was warm, kind, and professional from start to finish. A truly unforgettable experience. This is one of the best activities I did in Phuket and worth every cent but I felt sorry for the guys walking with the horse at the beach while I’m on the horse😮‍💨. But he was very helpful in many ways, very kind too-I forgot his name. I did the 4pm slot though I wanted the sunset slot, it was fully booked. And apparently you can also request to ride a white horse-just state it on your booking details before hand.

An experience with my child, it was her first time seeing an actual elephant after turning six 😆. But it was too huge, so I only chose the simple feeding option. In the end, she said that we adults had the most fun, and my daughter was too scared to feed them 😆. The locals all speak some Chinese, so even people who aren't good at English don't have to worry about coming to play. The elephants are all well taken care of, and they are chubby. I visited with my grandparents (older travelers) and this was a really accessible experience where the guides were really friendly and the elephants were free to roam! The carers of the elephants followed the elephant and not the other way around, it was amazing to see them play. The highlight for me was the elephant hospital, and getting to meet the veterinarian who was caring for a sick elephant of old age. Its amazing what they are doing for the elephant species as a whole in phuket, the site is really peaceful too and the food was excellent!

Absolutely unforgettable experience!! We chose the feed and bathe at the beach option, and it was hands down the best experience of our trip. This is a full three hours of truly hands-on time with the elephants, preparing a meal for them, feeding them, walking alongside them, and bathing with them in the ocean. Nothing felt rushed, staged, or crowded. The elephants are clearly happy, healthy, and well cared for. They are well fed and genuinely seem to enjoy playing in the water and on the beach, which made the experience feel even more special and ethical. At the end, they offer a professional photo package, and we’re so glad we got it. There are so many beautiful photos that perfectly capture the experience and give us lasting memories of such a special day. If you’re looking for an ethical, immersive, and unforgettable elephant experience in Thailand, this is it. We would recommend this camp without hesitation and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I really enjoyed my time at the half-day elephant sanctuary. When choosing from the many sanctuaries, I chose one without direct contact activities like direct feeding or bathing. The touch of strangers would be stressful for the elephants. Instead, I enjoyed the activity of preparing meals, and when I met the elephants and heard their stories, I was a little sad, but I was glad that they are now healthy!

It's great to be able to get close to elephants. Foreigners are really something, the boss accompanies the Westerners and the foreigners to do things together. If you understand English, you can participate in the Westerners' activities together because Westerners are interested in seeing elephants. Foreigners' arrangement is to make sure to book early, and foreigners' children also join in, it's so awesome after seeing it.
