Taipei Departure: New Taipei Car Rental with Driver to Jiufen/Shifen/Pingxi/Yehliu/Northern coast

It was very comfortable to travel because you spoke Korean so well. You showed us the must-see spots in Yehliu Geopark, which made the intense summer heat a bit more bearable. We also enjoyed seeing the waterfall that helped cool us down. Thank you for your patience in helping us quickly enjoy releasing the sky lanterns, and for promptly recommending local foods to try. It was even better that you told us about the Jiufen Qipao experience, even though it was late and only for 30 minutes. You explained the transportation methods and photo spots so well that we were able to fully enjoy the observatory and the final square. You also clearly explained how to best enjoy each location, which made our trip very comfortable and enjoyable. You were truly kind, and we appreciate your thoughtful consideration in making our family trip so pleasant.

Frank, our driver and semi–tour guide, made the entire experience genuinely enjoyable. He speaks English well and shared interesting insights along the way, which added a nice personal touch to the journey. We were traveling as a family with three seniors, and this tour turned out to be an excellent choice for us. The stops were mostly flat and easy to navigate, making them very senior-friendly. Frank was also incredibly attentive—he helped us in and out of the car and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the trip. The vehicle itself was clean, air-conditioned, and stocked with complimentary water, which we really appreciated. The pacing of the tour was thoughtfully planned, with just the right distance between stops so our group could rest and recharge comfortably. Overall, the tour offered a wonderful mix of Taiwan’s coastal and mountain scenery, giving us a well-rounded experience. This tour was absolutely worth both the time and the money. We had such a great experience with this private tour! Our driver, Mr. Kevin, was very kind, friendly, and professional. Honestly, no regrets at all choosing a private tour, it was so much more comfortable and less tiring, especially for a full day trip. Our route included Yehliu, Zhengbin Fishing Port, Jiufen, and Shifen. We even made a quick stop at Golden Waterfall based on Mr. Kevin's recommendation, which turned out to be a really nice bonus! When we were at Shifen to release the lantern, he brought us to a trusted shop and patiently waited until we finished. Overall, everything felt smooth, flexible, and stressfree. Highly recommended if you want a comfortable and enjoyable trip in Taiwan!

I took a tour for two days, August 16-17. It was a family trip with my parents, and I wanted to travel more comfortably, so I took a taxi tour, and I was really satisfied!! The reviews for driver Hak-Bori were so good that I mentioned it in my request, and driver Hak-Bori really came^^ The car was cool and very comfortable, and above all, the driver drove calmly and well~! He spoke Korean so well that he explained tips and history in the car while moving between places so well that I sometimes wondered if he was Korean...?! Thanks to him, I was able to have fun without being bored. Above all, the driver's photography skills are really the best!! I got a lot of great photos on this family trip ^^ Thank you so much for taking us around in the hot weather, explaining a lot, and taking so many pretty pictures~!! I think it was a fun and happy tour for the whole family ^^ If I go again next time, I want to see driver Hak-Bori again~!! Thank you for creating such a fun memory^^

This is a highly recommended, comfortable classic day tour of the North Coast and mountain towns! Professional Chinese-speaking driver Alvin provides full transportation throughout the trip. The itinerary is flexible and well-planned, suitable for families with children, couples, or first-time visitors. Driver Alvin is punctual, friendly, and communicates smoothly. Not only is he a steady driver, but he also proactively explains attractions and recommends delicious food. The order of stops and duration can be slightly adjusted based on the situation, reducing waiting times and transportation worries.

We used this service to get from our Taipei hotel to Jiufen. The driver messaged us on WeChat the day before, which we had registered when booking, allowing us to discuss our plans for the day. On the day of the trip, the driver arrived exactly on time and sent us photos of the meeting point and the car's exterior, making it easy to find them. On the way to Jiufen, we stopped at the 'Yin Yang Sea,' 'Golden Waterfall,' and a temple with a large statue of Guan Yu. The driver provided detailed explanations at each location, making for a very enriching tour. We also appreciated that they took many family photos for us. On the way back, we were dropped off at Ningxia Night Market. We would definitely like to use this service again!

We took the 8-hour tour of Yehliu's Queen's Head, Shifen's Sky Lanterns, Houtong Cat Village, and Jiufen. I was delighted to receive a polite greeting email the day before. On the 13th, there was an air raid drill, and our driver arrived about 30 minutes early for our scheduled 12 PM hotel pickup. At each location, they dropped us off at the entrance and always made sure to point out the restrooms. They were punctual for meeting times and locations, often waiting for us even earlier. Considering the heat and fatigue, it was a great relief to be able to tour by taxi, even with the extra cost!

Our driver, Mr. Ren, was very experienced and thoughtful. At Yehliu, he advised us on the best route to avoid tour groups and capture great photos. In Jiufen, he recommended delicious beef noodles, taro ball and tofu pudding, oolong tea, and the best photo spots at A-Mei Tea House. In Shifen, he helped us throughout the process of making and releasing sky lanterns. He was knowledgeable, an excellent driver, and very attentive to the children. It was a perfect trip!

Thank you Paul for the amazing service and adventure! Our driver Paul did an excellent job taking us to every spot in our itinerary. We went to Tiaoshi, Yehliu Geopark, Zhengbin Port, Houtong Cat Village, and Jiufen. The car was comfortable, Paul drove very well, he provided information for every spot, and gave advice on what to buy/eat. The service was truly excellent and made our last day in Taiwan memorable. I would definitely book again and request Paul due to his excellent skills. We started at 7:00 AM then ended at 3:00 PM. I would recommend this if you enjoy having a custom itinerary, more time in certain spots, a private tour, and a comfortable mode of transportation.
