Reviews
Great tour, with an inside out informational guide on Roland Garros. Everything from the court, locker rooms, press conference rooms are a part of the tour.
It was wonderful to learn the history and the ins and outs of the Roland Garros Stadium. This is a must do for every tennis fan.
I wish they would offer more tours in English. Most of the group were non-French speakers because the English tour sold out early. Tour guide was nice enough to translate some to English. Bad timing because the clay court was covered for a basketball tournament and we didn't see Rafa's plaque!
Great experience! In addition to being familiar with the history of the stadium, the tour guide is also familiar with the stories of the players. He can know some of the players' lesser-known habits and anecdotes. Currently, there are French tours, English tours, and Spanish tours. French tours are available during the period. Most visitors to the stadium buy souvenirs. You can get discounts for store purchases. Tickets purchased on Klook are cheaper and more flexible and can be canceled 72 hours before the event (tickets purchased through the official website link cannot be canceled)
The tour lasted for almost 2 hours, which for my husband who loves tennis so much, its so worth it to the the setting behind the only clay court in the grand slam. The guide talked about R. Nadal and other history in French Open, a lot and in detailed. He walks is relaxed pace so everyone can follow the tour comfortably. There is a decent souvenir shop, he did even got a new tennis bag, RG edition. Since there is little chance we'll get to the the real game other than on tv, this visit is so worth it!
The tour was well paced. Experienced guide,Mattieu, was punctual and professional in his delivery of each itinerary item from the media room to the player's dressing room to the stadium and museum. Together with my wife, we enjoyed wholeheartedly every segment of the tour. Bonus: PSG stadium is just a 700m walk away if you wish to visit.
Not to be missed for the tennis fanatic. Got to understand more on the backstage during the Roland Garros Open and history of the competition. Got a few nice souvenirs from the gift shop
Amazing experience with a knowledgeable guide. We saw the main court, interview rooms, trophy room, changing room & museum & shopping Centre. Overall great experience.
Our guide was wonderful and very refreshing. They explained why locker number 19 wasn't available in the women's changing room and were very patient, allowing my elderly mother to take her time. I was also thrilled that since it's before the season and sand isn't being sold yet, they let us collect a little from the edge of the court!
Strongly recommend this tour if you are a tennis fan. You cannot get inside the stadium or nearby facilities if you do not join the tour. The guide is funny and informative. The only downside is the price of the souvenirs.
