- The major attraction is Zion Canyon, a 15-mile-long and up to a half-mile-deep gorge cut by the Virgin River's North Fork
- Landmarks such as the Virgin River Narrows, The Great White Throne, Checkerboard Mesa, The Three Patriarchs, and Kolob Arch astound visitors
- Zion and Kolob Canyons harbor 289 bird, 79 mammal, 28 reptile, 7 fish, and 6 amphibian species, including deer, eagles, condors, and bighorn sheep

- If you plan to visit more than 2 parks, consider the America the Beautiful Non-Resident Annual Pass for USD 250, which covers up to 4 adults and waives the per-park fee
