Reviews
I recently had the pleasure of joining this tour and it waa an absolutely delightful experience. From start to finish, the tour was well-organized and offered a perfect blend of pisturesque scenery, charming villages, and fascinating cultural insights. Yulia our guide is amazing and she can speaks 3 different languages.
Day Tour Review: Volendam, Edam, and Zaanse Schans I recently went on a day tour to Volendam, Edam, and Zaanse Schans, and despite the occasional rain, it was an enjoyable experience. The highlight was getting to see the iconic windmills up close, which was absolutely breathtaking. The itinerary was well-organized, allowing ample time to explore each location. Even with the weather, the charm of these picturesque towns shone through, and the scenery was stunning. Overall, I found this tour to be worth the price. It provided a fantastic glimpse into Dutch culture and heritage, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
Great experience to visit few places, disappointed is not many windmills like last time ( few years ago) The cheese we bought is great taste. Tour guide is helpful and knowledgeable. we have an wonderful trip.
the tour was greaaaatttttt...it was worth my time and money. the trip was well organized. enjoyed the view especially at the area of windmills (zaanse schans). it was also fun to see edam and volendam.
the tour was really enjoyable! The cheeses, clogs and windmills all in one tour, amazing! Our tour guide Jolanda was so knowledgeable of the history and we had a good and safe driver! We got to taste different cheeses for free!!! highly recommended!
Easy to book in klook. I just booked one week before. The guide is really good and provide some information of each points. Can went to few places in one days that is not easy if u go by public transport. recommend to join.
Our guide Maryann was amazing. She was informative, very entertaining, and a super good guide. The tour was also breathtaking. If you think Edam was beautiful, Volendam was more so. If you think Volendam was lovely, Zaanse Schans was captivating. so glad to have booked this tour. You definitely gotta try the kibbeling (fried fish) at Volendam!
This was a very enjoyable tour from start to finish. Our wonderful guide, Fleur was very informative, helpful and funny too. We covered a lot the important spots on the tour with plenty of free time to enjoy and grab food etc.. so overall I’d recommend this tour to anyone looking for a class day out in the Netherlands. 👌🏻
It’s a good tour which you can visit 3 places in 1 day. The only downside is you won’t be able to spend a lot of time for each. We had around 30min walk in Edam with the tour guide who was a nice lady. Then we headed to the cheese farm for a bit more than 1hr, watched 2 introductions of cheese making and clog making, had tasting of the cheeses, all were fun. Then we had lunch in Volendam for an hour. Good to try some fish and chips but not enough time to explore the area. After that we went to Zaanse Schans for around an hour, had a bit rush good walk. So it’s worth to join this tour if you don’t have much time but wanted to visit more places.
Meeting point was easy to find for check-in and to get your bus tickets. Our guide was Yolanda, and she has a very soothing voice. Luckily we got a sunny day to enjoy the 3 places that we visited. It was fun to sample all the cheese and see the wooden shoe factory. Edam and Windmill Zaanse Schans we had enough time, however I wish we had 30 more minutes at Volendam. We were able to take pictures in traditional Dutch custumes, then we had to eat our lunch really quick on a bench. So we didn't have time to shop around. It was a bit rush there, and really no need to come back around 4pm anyways there was still daylight.
