Baiyoke Sky Hotel 78th Floor Bangkok Sky Buffet with Observation Deck Admission in Bangkok

My recent trip to Bangkok coincided with the durian buffet event at Baiyoke Sky Hotel, and honestly, the overall experience exceeded my expectations. First off, the quality of the durian was genuinely excellent. The main offering, Monthong durian, was perfectly ripe, with plump flesh that wasn't watery or underripe. The sweetness was consistently good, and it felt like every piece had been carefully selected. Replenishments were also prompt, so there was no need to constantly wait in line. Beyond eating fresh durian, their extended durian dishes were quite diverse. The durian sticky rice was fragrant and not overly sweet; the durian smoothie was refreshing and cut through the richness, perfect for summer; and there was even grilled durian, which had a richer flavor and is a less common preparation, definitely worth trying. The hot food section was also more substantial than I anticipated, offering items like river prawns, steak, and bacon-wrapped chicken, not just fruit. Paired with various other fruits and creative local Thai snacks, it allowed for a change of pace, preventing durian fatigue, which was a big plus. Another highlight was the opportunity to visit the observation deck. After eating, you can head straight up to the 77th and 84th floors to take in the Bangkok skyline, especially around sunset. The views are great, and it wasn't overly crowded, making it a cost-effective experience that combines dining with sightseeing. Considering the ambiance and offerings, I found the price to be reasonable. It's perfect for anyone who loves durian and wants to indulge. If you're a durian enthusiast or happen to be in Bangkok during this time, I recommend giving it a try; you won't be disappointed.

The fresh durian is excellent and carefully selected. Let the staff know what kind of durian flesh you'd like to eat. You can even sample it before taking it to your table. We highly recommend the Waterfall Shabu-Shabu; it's incredibly delicious and available with both beef and pork. The fried oyster omelet is very crispy. The seafood is fresh, including grilled river prawns, grilled squid, and various shellfish, all served with a spicy seafood dipping sauce that pairs perfectly. As for the steak, it's tender and not chewy. If you prefer your steak medium-rare, you can ask them to grill it a bit more, just like we did. They also offer pork and chicken steaks for those who don't eat beef. For dessert, we chose the durian kanom krok, which was wonderfully sweet and fragrant with coconut milk. The baked durian, served with caramel sauce, was perfectly sweet and aromatic. Enjoying the meal while taking in the view was fantastic. We think the price is incredibly worthwhile, and you can even go up to enjoy the view from the top.

It's amazing! If you love durian, you absolutely have to come here. We were so happy! They have unlimited durian, and so many other dishes to eat. We ate until we were completely full and want to come back again. We highly recommend the pork shabu-shabu, the spicy fruit salad, and the incredibly soft and bouncy durian pancakes. And don't forget the oyster omelet!

So worth it for durian lovers 😍✨ There were so many types of durian to choose from creamy to rich and intense, and you could try some before picking your favorite. I also liked that they had other options like seafood and steak. It was also my first time trying an exclusive menu called “Khao Chae,” which was really interesting. Highly recommend!

superb experience! baiyoke sky hotel staff is nice and helpful throughout the voucher redemption. various buffet food with tons of seafoods, thai desserts and fruit juices. could even enjoyed the stunning sunset view while dining. highly recommended activity!!!

Amazing experience! Went a little bit earlier, so we had more time to spend on a 77 floor observation deck. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything from sushi and prawns to pancakes and desserts! The rotation deck on 84th floor is breathtaking! Don't think about it too much, just get a ticket and go!

The buffet is really nice, it’s not a Michelin star restaurant but service is quick and there’s a wide variety of freshly made meals available. After having dinner you can go all the way up to the rotating skydeck where you can enjoy a fabulous view of the city! All in all it’s an affordable experience that I think everyone visiting Bangkok should go to!

Delicious food with a wide variety. International buffet. Japanese, Thai, Western, Chinese, Indian. Bakery. Mango sticky rice is very delicious. Water and tea/coffee are included. There is a short magic show to watch while eating. Children will enjoy themselves. Food is constantly refilled. If you arrive before the meal time you can go up and see the view outside. The view is beautiful. You can see Bangkok all around.
