It's very convenient to travel from Hong Kong Island to Shekou, K11 Shopping Mall, Sea World, and other places. After disembarking, it only takes 15 minutes to walk from the pier along the coast to the Sea World Culture and Arts Center, enjoying the sea view along the way.

It was relatively easy to change to physical tickets. Need to collect them about 20min before the vessel departure timing and cater time to find the ticket office. First class tickets come with a choice of drink and snacks. Overall it was a smooth experience.

Scenics views while waiting to board the ferry and in ferry but counter only opened for admission quite late leaving us to wait really long. Overall it is still a nice experience.

During the Spring Festival of the Year of the Horse, my family went to Shenzhen Nanshan District for a 3-day vacation. Because we had elderly family members, and since we were going to Nanshan District, taking a boat to Shekou was quite convenient. We had a relaxed and easy border crossing, a comfortable ride, and a happy and carefree 3 days. We were very satisfied.

The instructions were clear, the boat was clean, we arrived quickly, and the staff were friendly.

Ticket redemption was quick (make sure you have your QR code ready before the ticket stand) and the ticket counter will issue you both the outbound and inbound tickets (if you booked a return). Immigration out was calm and easy (no long lines like at the SZ bay crossing via Bus or hectic people crossing Lok Ma Chau and Lo Wu).

Going from Sheung Wan to Shekou Ferry Terminal has less traffic and is more convenient, it takes about 50 minutes to arrive~

It's very convenient to use for the first time. I made a special trip to see if I needed to exchange tickets in advance. I like exchanging tickets the most, but there was no one in line, so it was very quick and convenient. Worth using again.
