Fushimi Inari Kimono Rental Experience (Kyoto/Provided by Rental Kimono First)

This place was great! The ladies were helpful, we went earlier and they spent an hour on four of us getting us ready making sure every detail was perfect. The only challenge was that there weren’t very many options for plus size. So, if you’re 14+ it will be very limited (18+ will not fit). location: great experience: great

One of the most memorable experiences of my Kyoto trip. This store is managed by 2 ladies who are very nice and friendly. There is a good range of products to choose from. They helped me select the right colour combination for the jacket, belt and kimono. As it was snowing on the day I went, they even gave an additional pair of socks as a gift. The elderly woman was very skilled in draping the kimono and had a warm smile throughout. PS: There is a refundable deposit of 10,000 yen for 2 people but if you leave your belongings at the store, this is waived off.

The staff was incredibly kind, and the selection of kimonos and accessories was beautiful. I was so in love and indecisive, but the young lady was able to help me choose. ❤️ Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, I will definitely be back! 🤍

It was a fantastic experience. My mood soared the moment I put it on. This kimono rental shop is in a great location and easy to find. The kimonos are new and the patterns are beautiful. The staff also carefully helped me dress. Because the weather was cold, the shop was very helpful and gave me two layers of socks. It was a great experience!

this was the best location to rent a kimono from if you want a photoshoot by fushimi inari temples. the derive was fast and the workers were very friendly and understood English pretty well. a lot of prints to choose from.
