Booking guidelines
- Before booking, please ensure your mobile device is compatible with the local network service provider. No refunds or cancellations can be made due to SIM compatibility issues

- The connection speed depends on your reception coverage and the local tele company. No refund will be issued for any speed drop
- This is a Data-only SIM card. Calls, texts, or topping up additional credits will not be possible
- If the data limit has been reached, the speed will throttle down to 128 Kbps

- Under the Fair Usage Policy, data speed and usage may be limited for users who process large amounts of data in a short period of time. This is at the discretion of the subscribed telecommunications company and may occur without prior notice
- Please refrain from extensive video streaming and/or processing a huge amount of data in a short time

Activation procedure
- Activate the eSIM before your flight to your destination. A stable connection is required while activating the eSIM. No registration is required.
- iOS- Settings > Mobile Data > eSIM > Add Data Plan, Scan QR, and label accordingly (example, Travel)
- Android- Settings > Network> Sim Card Manager > eSIM > Add mobile plan > Scan QR and label accordingly (example, Travel)
- Note: All eSIM needs to activate within 30 days upon purchased date
- Your local telco will be the default. Overseas, select eSIM for mobile data, and enable data roaming
- No more changing of physical sim card; the eSIM profile can be deleted once utilized
- Caution and warnings
- Important: eSIMs can only be installed once, and the QR code is unique; once activated, you will be unable to receive a refund for any reason, such as device compatibility issue, accidental installation, or deletion
- Do not delete or remove your eSIM from your device after successful installation
- If you enable data roaming before switching to eSIM, you may incur high roaming charges from your telco
- If there are connectivity issues, restart your device, and it will auto-connect to the local network
- If the issue persists, kindly contact Yoowifi via email, WhatsApp, or the website

QR Code was sent to me from yoowifi, had to manually activate it (no hassle, just copy and paste the codes to the esim activation page) as Apple removed the option to upload QR code images in the esim setup page. Do remember to MANUALLY select Chunghwa Telecom as the preferred network for fast speed! (Using auto will connect you to a slower network telecom which i faced for the first few hours.. ) Do refer to my photo of the setup! (I only Manually select the preferred network and turned on Data Roaming!)

This was the cheapest I found for an esim (TPE location). Was working for 2 days but already couldn’t load even a google map search on the 3rd day. There wasn’t any speed refresh or notification how much I’ve already used. Not safe for 30 day usage. I had to buy another one
instructions were so unclear here. It took me 2 days to have activated my data connection. you should have an instruction for your customers that they have to register their name in Taiwan first so they can use the sim.

The response is fast using WhatsApp. The real name registration is required to activate the esim card.
It was a little difficult to set up without detailed instructions, and it took me a long time to get it right in the beginning. Later, the network speed obviously showed that more than 50% of the data was not used up, but it was very slow and sometimes I couldn't even open ig. I don't recommend it.
There were times that the signal went weak to nothing thought we haven't consumed lots of data.
After using real-name registration three times, I don’t want to try again. I spent money to buy experience, and I won’t buy it again.
