Reviews
Had an awesome tour last night. We called in advance to confirm the trip as the weather in the city was cloudy and rainy during the day. The pickup was 10 minutes longer than 8:30 time but the wait was well worth it. We did not have high expectations but was wrong. We saw Aurora dancing! The driver was very knowledgeable and experienced. He took us to a parking lot next to a small cafe off of highway, about 50 minutes from the city. We did not see much the first 10 minutes. Then started to see some hue in the sky. From there we saw non stop show! We stayed the same place for about an hour and back home before midnight. Trust the expert! Highly recommended.
super friendly guide and brought us to the best place to catch the auroras
it would be great to write on the activities details , that the event may delay drop off depends on the northern night situation. We waited til 00:00 to see the northern night, i could hear some of us want to give up and leave already at 23:30sth, but the touristsaw the light with his camera and say after the cloud spread away we could see it. Its great that we see it finally! making the wait in cold worth its price haha. Trust the poilot (i.e. the tour guide)!
this is a very good tour. the tour guide will bring you to the countryside which increases the chance of capturing the northern light. They will also provide you with photography skills to capture the magical moment.
This is really great. You can see the northern lights at the first stop. If you can go one more stop, it will be better. Slightly less to see. But the tour guide is very good.
As soon as we got on the bus, the tour guide suggested that we change our itinerary for another day because we couldn't see the aurora today. I felt a little disappointed at the moment because the tour guide's tone sounded very sad. Later, we really didn't see the aurora, which was a pity. It's a Xiaotai car. It's very cold in the mountains, so be sure to be prepared to keep warm and bring a few warm bags. The tour guide helped prepare hot cocoa, which was very considerate.
a must try if you go iceland but may or may not get to see one. nevertheless it is an experience. able to see faint aurora. booking was hassle free and prices were competitive. able to communicate easily for the pickup.
The service provider sent an email promptly to inform that the trip was cancelled, so pending klook for refund.
The guide took us to two locations. The aurora was not that obvious. On the way back, the guide saw a very obvious aurora and asked us to get out of the car to take photos and videos. We are very grateful to him for taking photos for everyone when shooting the aurora. Coco and chocolate eat this. I highly recommend the Aurora Tour, it’s great
The tour guide took us seriously to take pictures in places with aurora. The weather was very cold and the hot chocolate was very warm. We gathered at about 8:30 in the evening, but we didn’t see the tour guide until after 9 o’clock. I was a little nervous.
Good to know
If the Northern Lights show up (and it might be at any time) it can be awe-inspiring. They may appear quite subtly, then before you know it, stretch and expand into swirling and dancing patterns across the sky. Whether dramatic or delicate, they’re always a surreal and special sight to behold. Green and yellow auroras are the most common. Blue, violet, and rose auroras are less regular but equally as stunning. Red hues are the rarest, yet they’re more common in Iceland than anywhere else in the world!
